ADAPTER ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure provides an adapter assembly. Portion of the main body of the plug adapter is penetrated through the opening and exposed to the exterior of the accommodation space. Each protrusion is penetrated through the concave and exposed to the exterior of the accommodation space. Each protrusion exposed to the exterior of the accommodation space is connected with the position-limiting portion through the rotation of the plug adapter. Each fastening element is plugged into the first hole and the second hole. The plug adapter is fastened to the casing through the fastening element and the connection between the protrusion and the position-limiting portion. The adapter assembly includes two impact bearing points. One is formed by the fastening element, and the other is formed by the connection between the protrusion and the position-limiting portion. The stability and the waterproof capability of the adapter assembly are enhanced.
Power adapter configured to apply power to a device
A power adapter configured to apply power to a device is disclosed. The power adapter comprises a switching module having a recess comprising a first set of contacts for receiving control signals, wherein the switching module comprises a switch for selectively applying power to a device based upon the control signals; and a control module removably coupled to the switching module and having a second set of contacts coupled to the first set of contacts of the switching module when the control module is attached to the switching module; wherein the switching module comprises a user interface element.
ELECTRIC CONNECTOR AND ASSEMBLY THEREOF WITH BETTER SHIELDING EFFECT AND BETTER APPEARANCE
An electrical connector comprises an insulating body, a number of conductive terminals, and a metal shielding shell. The insulating body comprises a tongue plate. Each conductive terminal comprises a mating portion exposed to the tongue plate. The metal shielding shell at least partially encloses the tongue plate. The metal shielding shell comprises a receiving space for receiving a mating connector. The electrical connector also comprises a metal fixed shell expanding outwardly. Compared with the prior art, the present disclosure shortens the length of the metal shielding shell. After the metal shielding shell is installed on the device shell, it will not be obviously observed from the outside so as to improve the appearance. Besides, the shielding effect is improved by providing the metal fixed shell supported on the device shell. The present disclosure also discloses an electrical connector assembly having the electrical connector.
Compact add-on housing
An add-on housing for a plug-in connection is provided and includes a frame-like basic form, wherein fastening devices for fastening the add-on housing to a wall aperture are integrally formed within the frame-like basic form, wherein the add-on housing has at least one clamping element which can be captively clamped within the frame-like basic form, and wherein a holding frame or a contact insert can be fixed to the at least one clamping element. A method for fastening an add-on housing to a wall aperture is also provided, wherein: a frame-like basic form is fixed to the wall aperture by internal fastening devices; then, at least one clamping element, but preferably two clamping elements, is/are fixed within the frame-like basic form without tools; and a holding frame which is fitted with plug-in connector modules or a contact insert is then mounted onto the clamping elements and fixed thereto.
Lever-type connector
A lever-type connector includes: a first housing; a second housing capable of fitted to and removed from the first housing; a lever rotatably supported by the second housing for fitted to and removed the first housing and the second housing by a rotation operation; a support shaft provided on the second housing; a bearing portion provided on the lever and comprising a shaft sliding groove for sliding the support shaft; a cam follower provided on the lever; a cam groove provided on the first housing, the cam groove to which the cam follower is engageable; a guide protrusion provided on the second housing, and a guide groove provided on the lever, the guide groove to which the guide protrusion is engageable. When the first housing and the second housing are completely fitted by the rotation operation of the lever, the lever becomes slidable with respect to the second housing.
