UNINTERRUPTABLE TAP
A coaxial tap in a hybrid fiber coaxial cable distribution system serves subscribers with an RF signal.
SOCKET FOR ELECTRIC COMPONENT
A socket for an electric component includes a socket body in which a contact pin is provided in a housing part and a cover member provided so as to be rotatable with respect to the socket body. The cover member has a cover member body and a heat slug in contact with an electric component. The heat slug is configured so as to move downward and press the electric component by being pressed from above by a cooling head in a state in which the cover member is closed. In a state in which the electric component is housed in the housing part, a restricting mechanism allows the downward movement of the heat slug, whereas in a state in which the electric component is not housed in the housing part, the restricting mechanism prevents the downward movement of the heat slug.
Socket contact techniques and configurations
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards socket contact techniques and configurations. In one embodiment, an apparatus may include a socket substrate having a first side and a second side disposed opposite to the first side, an opening formed through the socket substrate, an electrical contact disposed in the opening and configured to route electrical signals between the first side and the second side of the socket substrate, the electrical contact having a cantilever portion that extends beyond the first side, wherein the first side and surfaces of the socket substrate in the opening are plated with a metal. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
SFP SOCKET CONNECTOR
An SFP socket connector is disclosed in this invention. In a socket housing of the SFP socket connector, one row of upper terminal-receiving grooves are located on an inner side of a top wall and extend to a mounting space, and some of the other row thereof are formed between upper support bars and extend to the mounting space. One row of lower terminal-receiving grooves are located on an inner side of a bottom wall and extend to the mounting space, and some of the other row thereof are formed between lower support bars. The shielding case has an upper port aligned with two rows of upper terminal-receiving grooves and a lower port aligned with two rows of lower terminal-receiving grooves. Multiple terminal assemblies are mounted in the socket housing and are arranged side by side in the order of ground-signal-signal.
Socket for electrical component
To provide a socket for electrical component that allows an electrical component to be easily accommodated and to be able to be accommodated and be used even if the electrical component is large. The IC socket 10 comprises a socket body 13 accommodating an IC package 11; a cover member 15 for pressing the IC package 11; and a lever member 17 for pressing the cover member 15. The cover member 15 and the lever member 17 are rotatably connected to the same side end side of the socket body 13, and a pressing means 25, for pushing down the cover member 15 by closing the lever member 17 at the state that the cover member 15 is closed, is provided.
ACCESSORY SHOE DEVICE TO WHICH ACCESSORY IS ATTACHED, IMAGE PICKUP APPARATUS, AND ACCESSORY
An accessory shoe device enabling multi-polarization of a connector for connection to an accessory without degrading the versatility thereof. The accessory is attached to an engagement member. A signal terminal connector has contacts arranged in a lateral direction orthogonal to an attaching direction. A pair of first engagement portions in the engagement member are spaced by a first width in the lateral direction, and a pair of second engagement portions in the engagement member are spaced by a second width larger than the first width. The signal terminal connector is disposed forward of the first engagement portions in the attaching direction. A length of the signal terminal connector in the lateral direction is larger than the first width and smaller than the second width. The second engagement portions are formed rearward of the first engagement portions in the attaching direction.
SOCKET
This socket is provided with: a socket body in which a to-be-inspected member is housed and which also has a to-be-locked part; a cover which is disposed at the upper side of the socket body; and a locking member which is supported by the cover and which has a shaft part extending in the vertical direction and a locking part extending in a direction intersecting with the vertical direction, wherein the cover becomes fixed to the socket body when the locking member is rotated about an axial line thereof and the locking part engages the to-be-locked part.
CONNECTOR, IC PACKAGE, AND METHOD OF MOUNTING CONTACTS TO HOUSING OF CONNECTOR
A socket which holds an IC package and is to be mounted on a circuit board is described that includes: a housing with a bottom portion, two pairs of side wall portions and an opening accommodating the IC package, contacts and holders. The bottom portion is provided with penetration holes. The two pairs of side wall portions face each other across the opening and one pair of side wall portions are provided with ribs protruding outward. The contacts are supported by the housing so as to pass through the penetration holes and are exposed on an opposite side of the opening. The holders have first support holes and are fixed to side surfaces of the housing with the ribs passing through the first support holes.
