The holder frame is arranged to hold the guide member and the locator element, the at least one elongated cavity having a longitudinal main extension (120). The locator element is movable in a first guide (126) in the direction (127) of the longitudinal main extension. The guide member is movable in a second guide (128) in relation to the locator element in a direction (129) perpendicular to the direction (127) of the longitudinal main extension. The guide member and the locator element are slidably engaged with one another. An apparatus (102) for holding at least one elongated workpiece (106) to be crimped, wherein the apparatus comprises a holder frame (122), a guide member (124) and a locator element (114) having at least one holder surface (116) defining an elongated cavity (118) for receiving and holding the workpiece. The holder frame is arranged to hold the guide member and the locator element, the at least one elongated cavity having a longitudinal main extension (120). The locator element is movable in a first guide (126) in the direction (127) of the longitudinal main extension. The guide member is movable in a second guide (128) in relation to the locator element in a direction (129) perpendicular to the direction (127) of the longitudinal main extension. The guide member and the locator element are slidably engaged with one another. The guide member, when being moved in a direction (129) perpendicular to the direction (127) of the longitudinal main extension, is configured to move the locator element in the direction (127) of the longitudinal main extension. A crimping tool (170) comprising such an apparatus (102).
Manual pliers tool
The invention relates to a manually operated pliers tool, which may especially be crimping pliers. According to the invention, the pliers tool is equipped with an electronics construction unit. The electronics construction unit is realized separately from a mechanical pliers part and arranged in a pliers head part of the mechanical pliers part, which is arranged between hand levers and pliers jaws. The electronics construction unit is attached to this pliers head part. The electronics construction unit extends at least on two opposite sides of the pliers head part, sandwiching the pliers head part, and comprises a connector, where the connector extends through or around the pliers head part between the two opposite sides of the pliers head part.
Manual pliers tool
The invention relates to a manually operated pliers tool, which may especially be crimping pliers. According to the invention, the pliers tool is equipped with an electronics construction unit. The electronics construction unit is realized separately from a mechanical pliers part and arranged in a pliers head part of the mechanical pliers part, which is arranged between hand levers and pliers jaws. The electronics construction unit is attached to this pliers head part. The electronics construction unit extends at least on two opposite sides of the pliers head part, sandwiching the pliers head part, and comprises a connector, where the connector extends through or around the pliers head part between the two opposite sides of the pliers head part.
Crimping handtool
A crimping hand tool configured to crimp a cable and a connector together is provided. The crimping hand tool includes a first body, a second body, a limiting member, a crimping member, and an adjustment member. The second body is pivoted to the first body. The limiting member is disposed in the second body. The crimping member is movably disposed in the second body and linked with the first body, the crimping member being partially interfered with the limiting member and having only one degree of freedom of movement along an axis. The adjustment member is disposed in the second body, rotating about the axis, and screwed with the crimping member. The terminal strip guide assembly includes a strip guide having a slot receiving the carrier strip and having a guide surface adjacent the slot. The guide surface is configured to engage the terminal to locate the terminal relative to the terminal strip guide assembly and to control a depth of the carrier strip received in the slot.

The invention relates to pressing tongs or crimping pliers (1). The pressing tongs or crimping pliers (1) comprise a fixed pliers jaw (4) and a movable pliers jaw (6). A closing motion of the movable pliers jaw (6) can be initiated by pivoting a movable hand lever (9) via a toggle lever drive (11). According to the invention, a further lever (48), especially in the form of an additional hand lever (49), is provided. The further lever (48) is coupled to the movable pliers jaw (6) in such a way that when the further lever (48) is pivoted, an opening motion of the pliers jaw (6) into an insertion and/or removal position can be initiated.
