Temporary electrical panel
Disclosed herein is an apparatus for providing and monitoring a temporary electrical supply, which comprises a portable electrical panel with an array of circuit breakers, an array of electrical plugs for supplying a temporary source of electricity, and an array of amp and voltage meters that detect information needed for each corresponding phase. The Temporary Electrical Panel is supplied by a 50-amp cord and has a 40-amp main breaker. Each electrical plug is rated at 20 amps, tamper resistant, and GFCI protected, with a dedicated 20-amp breaker. The electrical plugs may also be color coded to differentiate which phase they are on. Additionally, the Temporary Electrical Panel comprises a plastic backing board with handle cut outs or a handle, which allow the Temporary Electrical Panel to be carried.
MAGNETIC LABELING KIT AND METHODS OF USE
A kit includes one or more pairs of matching color-coded attachment members and tags. The attachment member is configured to be selectively retained to an electrical wire entering an electrical service panel. The corresponding color-coded tag is configured to be attached, such as through magnetic means, to a door of the electrical service panel. The tag includes pre-printed text thereon, which provides descriptive information regarding the electrical circuit formed by the wire to which the attachment member is associated. As such, the color-coding allows a homeowner or technician to easily identify which electrical circuit is controlled by a particular electrical circuit breaker.

An electrical control panel including an enclosure box being sealed other than at an inlet opening and an outlet opening, a primary electrical component inside the enclosure box and having a first heat exchanger that transfers heat from the primary electrical component, one or more secondary electrical components inside the enclosure box that generate less heat than the primary electrical component, a second heat exchanger attached to the enclosure box and having an internal air passageway that includes an inlet opening and an outlet opening in fluid communication with the respective outlet and inlet openings of the enclosure box and defining therewith a sealed compartment, and one or more diverter elements direct a majority of the heated air from the first heat exchanger to enter the internal air passageway of the second heat exchanger without flowing over at least one of the secondary electrical components.

BUS BAR SYSTEM WITH AT LEAST ONE BUS BAR HELD IN A CONTACT PROTECTION HOUSING
A bus bar system having at least one bus bar which is accommodated in a contact-protection housing in a contact-protection manner and in an accessible manner via contacting passages for electrical devices and/or device adapters, the contact-protection housing having a lower part and an upper part which is detachably fixed on the lower part and between which the at least one bus bar is held, wherein the upper part has, on its side facing the lower part, a plurality of plug-in receptacles extending from the latter into the lower part, and the lower part has at least one slide with at least one latching pawl which can be adjusted between a locking position, in which the at least one latching pawl engages in the plug-in receptacle, and a release position, in which the at least one latching pawl is positioned in front of the plug-in receptacle. BUS BAR SYSTEM WITH AT LEAST ONE BUS BAR HELD IN A CONTACT PROTECTION HOUSING
A bus bar system having at least one bus bar which is accommodated in a contact-protection housing in a contact-protection manner and in an accessible manner via contacting passages for electrical devices and/or device adapters, the contact-protection housing having a lower part and an upper part which is detachably fixed on the lower part and between which the at least one bus bar is held, wherein the upper part has, on its side facing the lower part, a plurality of plug-in receptacles extending from the latter into the lower part, and the lower part has at least one slide with at least one latching pawl which can be adjusted between a locking position, in which the at least one latching pawl engages in the plug-in receptacle, and a release position, in which the at least one latching pawl is positioned in front of the plug-in receptacle. Electrical panelboard guard with coupled members
Disclosed herein is a panelboard guard assembly configured to restrict access to a panelboard having a cover and a door defined therein, the cover having first and second side edges. The panelboard guard assembly includes overlapping members that are, at least in some implementations, mutually coupled to each other. The panelboard guard assembly further includes an adjustment mechanism that extends between and couples the members together, the adjustment mechanism facilitating adjustment of the distance between the outer ends of the members.

Disclosed herein is a panelboard guard assembly configured to restrict access to a panelboard having a cover and a door defined therein, the cover having first and second side edges. The panelboard guard assembly includes overlapping members that are, at least in some implementations, mutually coupled to each other. The panelboard guard assembly further includes an adjustment mechanism that extends between and couples the members together, the adjustment mechanism facilitating adjustment of the distance between the outer ends of the members.
Prefabricated electrical module and system
A prefabricated electrical module and system along with fabrication and installation methods are provided. The prefab electrical module includes a circuit breaker panel casing that houses multiple circuit breakers, and a chase extending upwardly from the panel casing that stows coiled lengths of homerun wiring attached to the circuit breakers. During transport, a temporary panel casing front cover protects the panel casing front, and a forwardly protruding guard cover with an upwardly projecting hoisting handle shields the front and top of the chase and wiring. During installation, a hoisting bracket is attached at the top of the stud bay into which the prefab electrical module will be installed. A drill-powered winch is then used to lift the module to the proper height in the bay. The panel casing, chase, wiring, and breakers remain in the wall. The hoisting bracket, temporary panel casing front cover, guard cover, drill, and winch are reusable.
