CIRCUIT PROTECTION DEVICE
Disclosed is a circuit protection device including a case, a negative temperature coefficient thermistor accommodated in the case and including a resistant heating element, a pair of electrodes installed on both sides of the resistant heating element, and a first thermistor lead wire and a second thermistor lead wire withdrawn from the pair of electrodes, respectively, and a fuse accommodated in the case and including a fuse body and a first fuse lead wire and a second fuse lead wire connected to both ends of the fuse body, respectively. Here, the fuse body includes a fuse rod with a plating layer formed thereon and a pair of fuse caps coupled to both ends of the fuse rod and having conductivity, and the first fuse lead wire and the second fuse lead wire are bonded to the pair of fuse caps, respectively.
SECONDARY BATTERY PROTECTION CIRCUIT, SECONDARY BATTERY PROTECTION APPARATUS, BATTERY PACK AND TEMPERATURE DETECTION CIRCUIT
A secondary battery protection circuit for controlling charge and discharge using a switching circuit to protect a secondary battery from temperature is provided. The switching circuit is configured to be provided in a charge-and-discharge path between the secondary battery and an external device. The secondary battery protection circuit includes a detection terminal configured to be electrically connected, via a resistor, to between the switching circuit and the external device. The secondary battery protection circuit includes a first terminal configured to be electrically connected to a temperature detection terminal of the external device. The secondary battery protection circuit includes a second terminal to which a temperature sensitive element is configured to be electrically connected, the temperature sensitive element having a characteristic value varying in accordance with a change in temperature of the secondary battery.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL PROTECTION DEVICE AND CORRESPONDING CHARGING DEVICE
A temperature control protection device and a corresponding charging device. The temperature control protection device includes: a temperature acquisition unit (101); a comparison unit (102) configured to compare an environment temperature signal with a preset reference voltage and output a first comparison result; a control unit (103) configured to compare the environment temperature signal with a preset threshold and output a second comparison result; a driving unit (104) configured to output a driving signal to a switch unit (105) according to the first comparison result or the second comparison result for switching on or off the switch unit (105); and the switch unit (105) configured to output charging current when being conducted. The temperature control protection device and the charging device with it according to the embodiments of the present disclosure realize the multiple protections of temperature monitoring during charging, and improve the charging safety.

An electronic apparatus comprises a power receiving unit configured to receive electric power transmitted from a power transmitting apparatus in a non-contact manner, and charge a battery that powers the electronic apparatus with the electric power; a temperature monitor configured to change output according to temperature; and a charge controller configured to instruct the power receiving unit to execute charge control of the battery based on the output of the temperature monitor.

The power detection circuit and the control unit are housed in the terminal box.
Power converter, power controller, and control method capable of providing multiple protections
A power converter capable of performing over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection converts an input voltage into an output voltage. A power switch is connected in series with a primary winding between the input voltage and an input ground. A power controller with a multi-function pin controls the power switch to control a winding current through the primary winding. The power converter has a multi-purpose circuit with first and second resistors, a rectifier and a thermistor. A connection node makes the first and second resistors connected in series between two ends of an auxiliary winding. The rectifier and the thermistor are connected in parallel between the multi-function pin and the connection node. The power controller can perform over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection via the multi-purpose circuit and the multi-function pin.

The present disclosure relates to a switching power supply, an over-temperature control and protection method, and a power control method. The switching power supply includes: a converter module including at least one main power switch; a direction detection module configured to obtain installation direction information of the switching power supply; and a process module configured to perform a preset operation in accordance with the installation direction information of the switching power supply. The present disclosure may realize power control of the switching power supply and meet over-temperature protection requirements under various installation directions.

Thermal protection of SMPS switch
A circuit for measuring temperature of an external switch is disclosed. The circuit includes a variable resistor, a switch coupled to the variable resistor in series, a fixed value resistor coupled to the variable resistor and a comparator coupled between the variable resistor and the fixed value resistor. The circuit is configured to compare voltage drop between a drain and a source of the external switch when the external switch is in ON state with voltage drop at the variable resistor and output a signal to indicate an overtemperature based on the comparing.
