METHOD AND APPARATUS CAPABLE OF ACCURATELY ESTIMATING/DETERMINING POWER PERCENTAGE OF BATTERY BASED ON CONFIDENCE LEVELS DETERMINED FROM RESULTANT INFORMATION OF MULTIPLE DIFFERENT FUEL GAUGE OPERATIONS AND/OR INFORMATION OF BATTERY HISTORY, AGING FACTOR, SLEEP TIME, OR BATTERY TEMPERATURE
A method for estimating a battery power percentage of a battery includes: performing a first fuel gauge operation upon the battery; and using the first fuel gauge operation to generate the battery power percentage of the battery by referring to information measured by a second fuel gauge operation performed upon the battery wherein the second fuel gauge operation is different from the first fuel gauge operation.
Integrated monitoring charging efficiency of a rechargeable device via a power bank
A portable power bank for charging a rechargeable device is described, and a dynamic charging efficiency is monitored while the power bank is charging the rechargeable device. Particularly, instantaneous power output of a battery of the power bank is compared to power received by a battery of the rechargeable device to determine efficiency. The charging of the rechargeable device by the power bank is interrupted and/or resumed based upon the charging efficiency at any given time, thereby preventing inefficient use of the power bank.
Vehicular battery charger, charging system, and method displaying a cost of power
A vehicle battery charger and a vehicle battery charging system are described and illustrated, and can include a controller enabling a user to enter a time of day at which the vehicle battery charger or system begins and/or ends charging of the vehicle battery. The vehicle battery charger can be separate from the vehicle, can be at least partially integrated into the vehicle, can include a transmitter and/or a receiver capable of communication with a controller that is remote from the vehicle and vehicle charger, and can be controlled by a user or another party (e.g., a power utility) to control battery charging based upon a time of day, cost of power, or other factors.
Vehicular battery charger, charging system, and method with display of charge time
A vehicle battery charger and a vehicle battery charging system are described and illustrated, and can include a controller enabling a user to enter a time of day at which the vehicle battery charger or system begins and/or ends charging of the vehicle battery.
Method of balanced charging using a charging system having integrated ports
A method of balanced charging that includes the use of a plurality of charging modules, each of which independently charges a battery unit and is provided with a positive port and a negative port with independent functions; the positive port is connected with the positive port of the battery unit corresponding to the charging module, and the negative port is connected with the negative port of the battery unit corresponding to the charging module.
Battery pack for battery electric vehicle
Connection and control concepts for battery packs in a high voltage battery assembly are provided. Parallel, modular configurations permit improved safety, voltage balancing, and redundancy, improving operation and reliability of an associated high voltage electrical vehicle such as a heavy-duty truck.
AEROSOL PROVISION DEVICE
An apparatus and a method for an aerosol generating device is described, the apparatus including a control module and a charging controller. The charging controller is configured to control charging of a battery at a first charging rate in a first charging mode and to control charging of the battery at a second charging rate, lower than the first charging rate, in a second charging mode. The control module is configured to determine information relating to usage of the aerosol generating device. The charge controller is configured to operate in the first charging mode or the second charging mode depending, at least in part, on the information relating to the use of the aerosol generating device.
ADAPTIVE SYSTEM FOR MANAGING ENERGY COMMUNITIES WITH VARIABLE CONFIGURATION
An adaptive system for managing, in an integrated way, multiple EC with variable configuration, with prosumer and/or proconstomer and/or constorer nodes that are dynamically aggregated over the time, through a partitionable digital platform that includes logics for the automatic management. To each platform portion corresponds an EC and an oriented combination of logics in turn selected, sequenced and parametrized according to the optimization purposes provided by the EC, to locally implement, through the controller of each node, the commands imparted to its devices and optimize energy flows, by first adapting to EC logics and then to single node logics. The oriented combination is continually recalculated, within 50 milliseconds from the reading of the data of each aggregated node, to adapt in real time to the variable configuration of an EC and its nodes.
RESILIENT MICRO-NETWORK OF ELECTRICAL RADIATOR-TYPE HEATING APPLIANCES
A micro-network includes at least two heating appliances with communication modules, one being used for obtaining and transmitting a first data set having at least one measurement related to the electricity consumption of the heating appliance, at least one measurement related to the electricity production of same and at least one measurement related to a state of charge of an electrical energy storage device, and subsequently controlling the power supply to the heating member. The other module is used for obtaining, and transmitting to a supervision module, first and second data sets including at least one item of data relating to an electrical power source, and subsequently transmitting a first setpoint state of charge related to the state of charge of the electrical energy storage device of the other heating device. The first setpoint state of charge is taken into account when controlling the power supply to the heating member.
ARITHMETIC SYSTEM, BATTERY INSPECTION METHOD, AND BATTERY INSPECTION PROGRAM
In an arithmetic system, a data acquisition unit acquires operation data at least including a voltage of a battery mounted on an identical product (for example, an electrically-driven vehicle of an identical vehicle type) and a state of charge (SOC) from a plurality of individuals of the product via a network. A detector statistically processes the plurality of pieces of acquired operation data to detect an individual on which a battery different from specifications of the product is mounted.
