The switch activation unit contains a switch for each of the area circuits to be controlled. The switches are wired in series between the circuit breakers in the circuit breaker box and the area circuits. A control unit communicates with the switch activation unit and selectively controls the on/off state of its switches. The control unit is programmable and can activate and deactivate different area circuits at different preprogrammed times. The control unit can also be operated remotely using a link to a smart device.

METHOD, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING POWER SUPPLY

A method for controlling a power supply includes: acquiring working state information of the power supply in a current operation; determining whether a state value of the power supply in the current operation satisfies a preset condition according to the working state information; setting a first control strategy for controlling the current operation of the power supply as a second control strategy when the preset condition is satisfied; storing the state value in the current operation and the first control strategy of the power supply in the current operation when the preset condition is not satisfied, and modifying the first control strategy to obtain the second control strategy according to an adjustment strategy; and loading the second control strategy from the machine-learning control circuitry in next operation, and controlling the next operation of the power supply according to the second control strategy.

Media access control security (MACsec) application cryptographic fingerprinting

An intelligent electronic device (IED) includes memory and a processor operatively coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to establish, over a communication network of a power system, a connection association (CA) with a receiving device using a MACsec Key Agreement (MKA). The processor is configured to automatically send an announce message indicating a set of enabled application protocols on the IED to the receiving device.

SYSTEM OF CRITICAL DATACENTERS AND BEHIND-THE-METER FLEXIBLE DATACENTERS

Systems include one or more critical datacenter connected to behind-the-meter flexible datacenters. The critical datacenter is powered by grid power and not necessarily collocated with the flexboxes, which are powered “behind the meter.” When a computational operation to be performed at the critical datacenter is identified and determined that it can be performed at a lower cost at a flexible datacenter, the computational operation is instead routed to the flexible datacenters for performance The critical datacenter and flexible datacenters preferably shared a dedicated communication pathway to enable high-bandwidth, low-latency, secure data transmissions.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE

A semiconductor device includes an insulating substrate, a first semiconductor layer formed of silicon and positioned above the insulating substrate, a second semiconductor layer formed of a metal oxide and positioned above the first semiconductor layer, a first insulating film formed of a silicon nitride and positioned between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer, and a block layer positioned between the first semiconductor film and the second semiconductor layer, the block layer hydrogen diffusion of which is lower than that of the first insulating film.

MICRO GRID STABILIZATION DEVICE

A micro grid stabilization device coupled to a DC bus and an AC grid in parallel is provided. A DC power generation apparatus provides power to the DC bus. An AC power generation apparatus provides power to the AC grid. A converter is coupled between the DC bus and the AC grid to transform the voltage of the DC bus and provide the transformed voltage to the AC grid. When the voltage of the DC bus or the AC grid is unstable, the micro grid stabilization device provides power to at least one of the DC bus and the AC grid to stabilize the power of the DC bus and the AC grid.

A charging/discharging control system of an energy storage apparatus includes a weather information collection module, a load information collection module, a load grouping module which classifies a plurality of loads into at least one load group based on a load correlation according to a predetermined condition, and an energy storage apparatus charging/discharging control module which determines a battery charging or discharging level per time slot of each of a plurality of energy storage apparatuses by using at least one of an estimated load amount of each load per time slot, a battery charging amount of the energy storage apparatus per time slot via solar generation, and a battery charging amount per time slot via system power, wherein a particular load corresponding to a lowest rate for a unit load is determined by using battery charging/discharging information and power rate information per time slot.

Energy generation (EG) system generating failsafe level of energy in case of communication failure

Embodiments may include a method of curtailing an output level of an EG system. The method may include receiving, at a processor, a first dynamic control signal. The first dynamic control signal may include an instruction to adjust an output level of an EG system to a first output level. The method may also include maintaining the output level of the EG system at the first output level for a predetermined period. The method may further include determining, by the processor, whether a second dynamic control signal is received during the predetermined period. If a second dynamic control signal is not received during the predetermined period, the method may include ramping down the output level at a predetermined rate after the predetermined period until a predetermined failsafe output level is achieved. The predetermined failsafe output level may be maintained until a third dynamic control signal is received by the processor.
