Electrical machine
An electrical machine, e.g., a power generator such as an alternator for a motor vehicle, is disclosed. The electrical machine includes a rotor and a stator, and the rotor is non-rotatably secured to a shaft having a shaft end that protrudes out of the rotor. A belt pulley is arranged at the shaft end for coupling to a drive. A bearing is non-rotatably secured to the shaft between the belt pulley and the rotor. A spacer ring is non-rotatably secured to the shaft between the belt pulley and the bearing. A gap which encircles the shaft is disposed between the belt pulley and the spacer ring, and between the spacer ring and the bearing, respectively. A plurality of blades directed radially outwards are arranged in at least one of the respective gaps. The blades convey incoming contaminated air to the outside and protect the respective gap against dirt.
DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM AND DIAGNOSIS METHOD FOR OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE
A diagnosis system diagnoses the integrity of an opening/closing device capable of opening and closing by driving a motor. A driving current acquisition unit acquires a driving current of the motor. A diagnosis unit defines a current waveform from a temporal change of the driving current acquired by the driving current acquisition unit and diagnoses the integrity of the opening/closing device based on the current waveform.
Engine starting system
An electric starting system is provided for an engine. The electric starting system may include a self-contained housing configured to be mounted between an engine and a tool driven by the engine. The electric starting system may also include an electric motor mounted to the housing, the electric motor configured rotationally engage an output shaft of the engine to effectuate starting of the engine.
Methods, systems and apparatus for powering a vehicle
This application is directed to an apparatus for providing electrical charge to a vehicle. The apparatus comprises a driven mass configured to rotate in response to a kinetic energy of the vehicle, the driven mass coupled to a shaft, where rotation of the driven mass causes the shaft to rotate. The apparatus further comprises a hardware controller. The hardware controller identifies output power parameters for the vehicle and generate a control signal based on the identified output power parameters for the vehicle. The apparatus also comprises a generator that generates an electrical output based on a mechanical input and a conditioning circuit electrically coupled to the generator. The conditioning circuit receives the electrical output from the generator and the control signal from the hardware controller, generates a charge output based on the electrical output and the control signal, and conveys the charge output to the vehicle.
UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE PARALLEL HYBRID DRIVE ASSEMBLY WITH CONTINUOUS BELT TENSION MODULATION
The disclosure is directed to parallel hybrid drive assemblies for lightweight unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Specifically, the disclosure is directed to hybrid drive assemblies and control systems for UAVs, utilizing continuous belt tension modulation to couple and decouple an electric motor and an internal combustion engine. In some embodiments, this is achieved through the use of a tensioner module that is configured to couple and decouple the electric motor and the internal combustion engine by continuously and selectably modulating belt tension on drive elements of each of the electric motor and the internal combustion engine.
WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine includes a water tank provided to store washing water in a cabinet, a rotating tub rotatably provided in the water tank, a pulsator provided in the rotating tub and rotated by a washing shaft, a driving motor configured to generate a rotational force for rotating the washing shaft, a clutch configured to selectively transmit the rotational force generated by the driving motor to a dewatering shaft for rotating the rotating tub and includes a housing through which the washing shaft and the dewatering shaft pass, a pulley including a first pulley rotated by the driving motor and a second pulley connected to the washing shaft, is connected to the first pulley by a belt, and configured to rotate the washing shaft, a bracket coupled to the second pulley and to which magnets are fixed, and a sensor unit coupled to the housing and configured to detect the number of rotations of the driving motor by detecting the magnets.
Display device
A display device is disclosed. The display device includes a base display panel, a back cover supporting a rear portion of the base display panel, sliding frames sliding with respect to the back cover, a driving unit configured to drive the sliding frames to slide, and a rollable display panel being extendable in response to the sliding of the sliding frames. The rollable display panel can be extended as needed by a user when widescreen images are displayed.
FLEXIBLE WEARABLE ROBOT
A flexible wearable robot for assisting with a walking motion of a user may include a thigh strap to be worn to enclose a thigh portion of a user, a shank strap to be worn to enclose a shank portion of the user, a driver to be worn on a back or waist portion of the user to provide a driving force for assisting with a walking motion of the user, a first driving wire with one end connected to the thigh strap and the other end connected to the driver to receive tension, a second driving wire with one end connected to the shank strap and the other end connected to the driver to receive tension, and a controller to control a drive of the driver to selectively apply tension to at least one of the first driving wire and the second driving wire.
Self cleaning modular floor system for robotaxis and passenger vehicles
An automobile vehicle self-cleaning modular floor system includes a self-cleaning modular assembly positioned in a passenger compartment of an automobile vehicle and including a tread portion, the tread portion having a first face and an oppositely directed second face. The first face of the tread portion when upwardly directed defines a first position of the tread portion, with a waste item collecting onto the first face in the first position during operation of the automobile vehicle. The tread portion is selectively moved from the first position to a second position having the first face downwardly directed and the second face upwardly directed. A waste collection tray is positioned below the tread portion to receive the waste item when the tread portion is in the second position.
GEAR MOTORS WITH CABLE-ACTUATED POSITION SENSORS
Cable-actuated position sensors are described that employ multiple block and tackle arrangements to measure displacement of a draw wire or flexible cable. The disclosed sensors are relatively small and inexpensive. The disclosed sensors may also be used as part of a servo motor, or in conjunction with gear motors to provide positional information for operation of the gear motor.
