A power tool includes a power mechanism including a drive shaft; an oscillating mechanism; an airflow element connected to the drive shaft; a heat conducting portion supported on the drive shaft, where the airflow element is disposed on the heat conducting portion. The oscillating mechanism includes a support assembly sleeved on the drive shaft and an oscillating member. Heat generated by the oscillating mechanism is conducted to the heat conducting portion through the drive shaft, the heat conducting portion has a thermal conductivity greater than or equal to 50 W/m•°C, and a ratio of an axial distance L1 of a portion of the heat conducting portion in contact with the drive shaft to a distance L2 of a thermally conductive portion of the drive shaft between the heat conducting portion and the support assembly is greater than or equal to 0.1 and less than or equal to 5.
Control and power module for brushless motor
A power tool including an electric motor is provided. The tool includes a substantially disc-shaped printed circuit board (PCB), power switches mounted on the PCB; magnetic sensors mounted on the PCB facing the motor; a heat sink in thermal communication with the power switches disposed between the PCB and the electric motor; and a molded casing structurally securing the heat sink relative to the PCB. The molded casing includes a center opening, at least one first opening provided at a first radial distance from the center opening arranged to receive the magnetic sensors therein, and at least one second opening provided at a second radial distance from the center opening arranged to securely receive the heat sink therein.
Electric Machine With A Baffle
The disclosure relates to an electric machine having a stator, a rotor and an inverter arranged in an inverter housing. The rotor is rotatably mounted about a rotational axis with its rotor axis in a first end shield and in a second end shield. The second end shield is arranged in or on the inverter housing. At least one suction opening and at least one blowing opening are arranged on the radial periphery of the second end shield. At least two cooling fins are provided on the second end shield, a baffle is arranged between the cooling fins of the second end shield and the stator and the rotor which is arranged in the stator, such that a cooling medium flowing radially through the at least one suction opening is guided to the at least one blowing opening.
CONTROL AND POWER MODULE FOR BRUSHLESS MOTOR
A power tool including an electric motor is provided. The tool includes a substantially disc-shaped printed circuit board (PCB), power switches mounted on the PCB; magnetic sensors mounted on the PCB facing the motor; a heat sink in thermal communication with the power switches disposed between the PCB and the electric motor; and a molded casing structurally securing the heat sink relative to the PCB. The molded casing includes a center opening, at least one first opening provided at a first radial distance from the center opening arranged to receive the magnetic sensors therein, and at least one second opening provided at a second radial distance from the center opening arranged to securely receive the heat sink therein.

An electronic control unit for redundancy of a motor driven power steering for a vehicle includes: a first motor control circuit unit having a circuit structure to control an operation of a motor; a second motor control circuit unit having a circuit structure to control the operation of the motor, and disposed in parallel to the first motor control circuit unit along an x-direction; and a redundancy control unit to control the second motor control circuit unit to perform a motor control, when an abnormality occurs in the first motor control circuit unit.

The invention relates mainly to a rotary electrical machine for a motor vehicle, comprising: a heat dissipater (65); two power modules (50) integrated in the heat dissipater (65), each comprising rectifier elements (53) which form three rectifier bridge arms (52), connection terminals (58) associated with the rectifier bridge arms (52), and a control unit which can control the rectifier bridge arms; and a connector (61) which establishes electrical connections, in particular between the terminals (58) for connection of the power modules (50) and the phase outputs of the rotary electrical machine.

A control device for controlling an electric motor of an electrical device may include a flat plate and a power electronics. The plate may extend in a plate plane. The power electronics may include a plurality of electronic components arranged and interconnected on the plate. The power electronics may have at least one electronic power component that produces waste heat during operation. The at least one electronic power component may be arranged such that a body of the at least one electronic power component penetrates the plate plane. A plurality of power connections, via which the at least one electronic power component may be interconnected to the plurality of electronic components, may be arranged at an edge of the plate.

The present invention is concerning a controller-integrated rotary electric machine having a power circuit portion provided between an external power source and a stator winding of a rotary electric machine main body, wherein the power circuit portion includes: a positive-side power input/output terminal and a negative-side power input/output terminal that are electrically connected to the external power source; a power module that performs power conversion between the external power source and the stator winding; and a single heat sink that cools the power module, the positive-side power input/output terminal being fixed to the single heat sink via an insulating material, and the negative-side power input/output terminal being fixed directly to the single heat sink.
