A method is presented for producing an arrangement for a plug-in coil of an electric machine, having the following steps: providing an arrangement of coil elements, which each are embodied as a rod-shaped coil element and are pre-aligned with one another; gripping the arrangement of coil elements by way of a grip apparatus, wherein the grip apparatus grips the arrangement of coil element by way of a first grip device in a first grip plane and by way of a second grip device in a second grip plane which is arranged beneath the first grip plane and at a distance therefrom; holding the arrangement of coil elements by way of the grip apparatus and inserting legs of the coil element into allocated grooves of a core; and releasing the grip apparatus from the arrangement of coil elements.

Method for manufacturing a stator

An apparatus for manufacturing a stator includes a supporting member configured to support a stator core, at least one processing jig having a cylindrical part and a plurality of protruding parts, and an operating unit. The operating unit is configured to perform, in a state where each of coil protruding parts is inserted between one circumferentially-adjacent pair of the protruding parts of the processing jig and an axial end face of the stator core is located close to the protruding parts of the processing jig, a first operation and a second operation either simultaneously or alternately. The first operation is an operation of relatively rotating the stator core and the processing jig in a circumferential direction of the stator core. The second operation is an operation of relatively moving the stator core and the processing jig away from each other in an axial direction of the stator core.

In a coil forming device, an edge line in an escape region is formed so that a clearance between the edge line in the escape region and a recess portion in an axis direction is larger than a minimum clearance between the edge line in an inclined region and the recess portion in the axis direction. When a second die is rotated relative to a first die in the clockwise direction the flat-square conductive material end is bent in flatwise bending by the recess portion and the inclined region of a protrusion portion, and then, the flat-square conductive material end reaches the escape region.

Each of the hole-forming members has formed therein a hole in which one of the second leg portions of the coil segments is to be inserted.
