The invention relates to a fluid pump device, in particular for the medical application, with a compressible pump housing and rotor, as well as with an actuation means which runs in the sleeve and on whose end the fluid pump is arranged. In order to utilize all possibilities of a space-saving arrangement of the respective pump housing of the rotor, which is compressible per se, and as the case may be, a bearing arrangement, the mentioned elements are displaceable to one another in the axial direction compared to an operation position. In particular these elements may be end-configured by way of an axial movement of the drive shaft after the assembly.

A method is provided for producing a bearing arrangement for an implantable blood pump. A bearing arrangement and an implantable blood pump are also provided. In the method, a rotor may be provided having one or more drive magnets. The rotor has a conveying element. In addition, a stator having stator windings is provided. Furthermore, the rotor is arranged in a flow channel formed by an inside wall of the stator. A rotor rotation is then driven. While the rotor rotation is driven, a deflection of the rotor is determined. In addition, the deflection of the rotor may be corrected by applying, removing, magnetizing and/or demagnetizing magnetically active material on the stator and/or on the rotor in a non-rotationally symmetrical manner.

MAGNETIC LEVITATION CENTRIFUGAL PUMP

A magnetic levitation centrifugal pump comprises: an internally hollow body, an inlet connector and an outlet connector for blood. The hollow body comprises a lower element and an upper element which are mutually coupled to each other; a rotor element housed inside the hollow body and provided with a portion made of magnetic material, the rotor element being magnetically commanded in rotation about a relative axis, without contact, by a stator element associable with the hollow body. The upper element has a perimeter flange for coupling and a substantially dome-shaped body projecting from the perimeter flange. The outlet connector is associated with the dome-shaped body and is spaced away from the perimeter flange, between the outlet connector and the perimeter flange being defined an air space inside which mutual tightening device/component can be inserted for the tightening of the upper element with the lower element.

Intravascular blood pumps and methods of use and manufacture

Devices for moving blood within a patient, and methods of doing so. The devices can include a pump portion that includes an impeller and a housing around the impeller, as well as a fluid lumen. The impeller can be activated to cause rotation of the impeller and thereby move fluid within the fluid lumen.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR COUPLING A BLOOD PUMP TO THE HEART

An apparatus for coupling a blood pump to a patients heart is provided. The apparatus includes a sewing ring designed to be sutured to the patients heart, wherein the sewing ring has an opening sized and shaped to receive an inflow cannula of the blood pump. The apparatus further includes a locking element coupled to a housing of the blood pump and transitionable between a closed state and an open state. The locking element is structured to receive the sewing ring in the open state and engage the sewing ring in the closed state to prevent translational and rotational movement of the locking element relative to the sewing ring. In addition, the apparatus includes a biased structure designed to bias the locking element in the closed state.
