The input interface is connected to the direct current bus by using the protection switch, the direct current bus is connected to an input end of the DC-DC circuit, and an output end of the DC-DC circuit is an output end of the DC-DC converter. The protection switch includes a release device and a switching device that are connected in series. The release device is configured to: when a short-circuit fault occurs on a line in which the release device is located, control the switching device to be disconnected.

The transparent portion of the first photovoltaic module overlays at least a portion of the at least one solar cell of the second photovoltaic module.

The two lids are on opposite sides of the junction box relative to the photovoltaic panel. The two lids may be attachable using different sealing processes to a different level of hermeticity. The first chamber may be adapted to receive a circuit board for electrical power conversion. The junction box may include supports for mounting a printed circuit board in the first chamber. The second chamber is configured for electrical connection to the photovoltaic panel. A metal heat sink may be bonded inside the first chamber.
