The present invention is an electronic circuit, which can also be built into an integrated circuit to create a single electronic component, used to increase voltage levels of electrical signals from sources having low voltage levels for any required application in an electrical system. While the focus is to increase voltage levels, current levels can also be optimized per application requirements. It is built by electronically cascading a clamper circuit with an oscillator circuit. The oscillator circuit generates an AC signal. The basic functionality of a clamper circuit is to raise DC level of an AC signal. With an oscillator circuit feeding an AC signal to the clamper circuit, multiple applications can be achieved economically. Said invention can be used for driving LEDs at low voltage levels, charge capacitors in a circuit to voltage levels higher than applied voltages, low frequency signal amplifiers, low frequency signal generators, AM/FM modulators, etc.

Systems and methods for integration of injection-locked oscillators into transceiver arrays

Systems and methods for integrating injection-locked oscillators into transceiver arrays are disclosed. In one aspect, there is provided an injection-locked oscillator (ILO) distribution system including a master clock generator configured to generate a master clock signal. The ILO distribution system also includes an ILO distribution circuit including an ILO and configured to receive the master clock signal. The ILO is configured to generate a reference clock signal based on the master clock signal. The ILO distribution circuit is further configured to generate an output signal indicative of an operating frequency of the ILO. The ILO distribution system further includes an injection-locked detector (ILD) configured to receive the master clock signal and the output signal. The ILD is further configured to determine whether the ILO is in a locked state or in an unlocked state based on the master clock signal and the output signal.

METHOD FOR ENHANCING THE STARTING OF AN OSCILLATOR OF A SUPER-REGENERATIVE RECEIVER, AND RECEIVER FOR IMPLEMENTING THE METHOD

A method is provided for enhancing the detection of the start time of a reference oscillator (4) of a super-regenerative receiver (1), which includes the reference oscillator, a bias current generator (7), an oscillation detector (6), and an impedance matching unit (3). Following the supply of the bias current (i_vco) after receiving the activation control signal (Sosc), an oscillation detection is performed by the oscillation detector (6), and once oscillation is detected, an additional amplification current (iboost) dependent on the envelope of the detected oscillation, of an amplification current generation circuit is supplied to the reference oscillator (4) in addition to the bias current to amplify the oscillation signal to be above a critical oscillation start threshold so as to precisely define the start time of the oscillator, and enable the oscillation detector (6) to order the stoppage of oscillation of the reference oscillator (4).
