METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEDICAL INJECTION
A medical injection apparatus includes a first reservoir, a second reservoir, a static mixer, and an injection unit. The first reservoir contains a saline solution. The second reservoir contains medicine. The static mixer receives the saline solution from the first reservoir, receives the medicine from the second reservoir, and obtains a medical solution by mixing the medicine with the saline solution. The injection unit receives the medical solution from the static mixer and injects the medical solution into a skin of a subject.
RECIRCULATING FLUID FILTRATION SYSTEM
A fluid filtration system comprising a cross-flow filter is arranged to permit a first pump to recirculate part of the retentate of the filter to the inlet of the cross-flow filter and a second pump to return part of the permeate to the inlet of the cross-flow filter. A third pump is configured supply source fluid to the inlet of the filter. The flow path between the second pump and the cross-flow filter inlet may include an adsorption filter that may selectively remove contaminants, toxins, or pathogens in the permeate. A controller may control the first, second and third pumps to provide predetermined flow ratios among the fluid flow paths of the system in order to achieve a desired filtration level. This system may be applicable to the removal of harmful substances from blood, by first separating the plasma from the blood and then removing harmful substances from the plasma.
TISSUE ISOLATION DEVICES CAPABLE OF REPEATED INFLATION AND DEFLATION IN VIVO
The present disclosure relates to a tissue isolation device capable of repeated inflation and deflation in vivo. The device includes: an isolation balloon arranged between healthy tissues and target tissues for a radiotherapy course, and the isolation balloon is removed from a body of a subject following the radiotherapy course. The isolation balloon is operable to assume an inflated state and a deflated state, the isolation balloon in the inflated state is used to isolate the healthy tissues and the target tissues. The isolation balloon includes a first contact surface and a second contact surface, under the inflated state, the first contact surface contacts the healthy tissues, and the second contact surface contacts the target tissues, a distance between the first contact surface and the second contact surface is in a preset range.
