ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR, APPAREL, AND SPORTS EQUIPMENT WITH SOIL-SHEDDING PROPERTIES
An article of footwear (100), apparel (500, 600), and/or sporting equipment (300, 400), and methods of manufacturing thereof, having a hydrogel present on at least a portion of an externally-facing side of the article. The hydrogel is effective in reducing soil accumulation on the article, and/or for reducing soil adhesion to the article.
Golf shoe
A shoe for golf including an upper, a midsole, and an outsole arranged to form an enclosure adapted to receive a foot of a wearer, and a toe area disposed at a front of the shoe and adapted to house toes of the wearer, where the toe area has an oblique shape delimited by an outer radius of the outsole of greater than zero.
Hydrogel tie layer
The disclosure relates to articles and components thereof, including outsoles, which can be used in conditions normally conducive to the accumulation of soil. In particular, the articles have substrate body, a tie layer secured to the substrate body, and a material including a hydrogel secured to the tie layer. The material can prevent or reduce the accumulation of soil during use. The presence of the tie layer can minimize or prevent delamination of the hydrogel containing material during normal use.
FOOTWEAR HAVING MOTORIZED ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM AND ELASTIC UPPER
An article of footwear may include an upper configured to receive a foot of a wearer, the upper including one or more elastic portions and one or more substantially inelastic portions. The footwear may further include a plurality of lace receiving members fixedly attached to an outer surface of the upper on the inelastic portions of the upper. Also, the footwear may include a sole structure fixedly attached to the upper. In addition, the footwear may include a motorized tensioning system including a motorized tightening device and a tensile member extending through the plurality of lace receiving members, the tightening device being configured to apply tension in the tensile member to adjust the size of an internal void defined by the article of footwear by drawing two or more of the plurality of lace receiving members closer to one another.
FOOTWEAR CLEAT
The present disclosure relates generally to traction devices for footwear. Cleats are provided that are operable to provide preexisting articles of footwear with enhanced grip, traction and performance. The cleat includes a threaded male extension for interfacing with a preexisting shoe sole and at least one projecting gripping element for contacting or extending toward a ground surface.
GOLF SHOE HAVING MIDSOLE STRUCTURE FOR SPIKE AND SPIKELESS OUTSOLES
The present invention generally relates to golf shoes having a structured midsole. The shoe includes an upper, midsole, and outsole. The structured midsole can accommodate both spiked outsoles and spikeless outsoles. The bottom surface of the midsole comprises recessed pockets for interlocking with complementary projecting segments located on the upper surface of the outsole. When the projecting segments of the outsole are disposed in the recessed pockets of the midsole, the midsole is secured to the outsole. The midsole can be used to form midsole/outsole assemblies, wherein the outsole is spike or spikeless and this provides costs savings.
REGIONALLY TIME-DEPENDENT MIDSOLE
A golf shoe with a sole assembly having a regionally time-dependent midsole is provided. The midsole may include a lateral region constructed of a first material and a medial region constructed of a second material, where elastic properties of the lateral region and viscoelastic properties the medial region provide a neutral support platform when a relatively brief compression load is placed on the midsole (e.g., when a wearer is taking a step while walking), and further provide an everted supported platform when the compression load is placed on the midsole for a longer period of time (e.g., when the wearer is swinging a golf club).
Sole structure with segmented portions
A sole structure for an article of footwear includes an upper layer comprised of a plate member and a lower layer comprised of a plurality of segmented portions separated by flexing regions. The flexing regions may comprise portions of a compressible material. The sole structure accommodates vertical bending and torsion, while limiting lateral bending.
