FREQUENCY SELECTIVE COUPLER
A frequency selective coupler configured as a harmonic rejection filter includes an electromagnetic element configured to electromagnetically couple to a signal path between an output of a power amplifier and an antenna, an impedance network coupled between an isolated port of the coupler and ground, the impedance network configured to provide a harmonic filter response, and an electrically unconnected coupled port connected to the electromagnetic element.
Wide-bandwidth resonant circuit
A wide-bandwidth resonant circuit is provided. In an embodiment disclosed herein, the wide-bandwidth resonant circuit includes a positive resonant circuit coupled in parallel to a negative resonant circuit. The positive resonant circuit and the negative resonant circuit can be configured to collectively exhibit certain impedance characteristics across a wide bandwidth. As a result, it is possible to utilize the wide-bandwidth resonant circuit to support a variety of wide-bandwidth applications, such as in a wide-bandwidth signal filter circuit.

Disclosed are devices and methods for fabricating devices. A device can include a passive portion having at least one metal insulator metal (MIM) capacitor and at least one 2-dimensional (2D) inductor. The device further includes a substrate and the passive portion is formed on the substrate. A magnetic core is embedded in the substrate. A 3-dimensional (3D) inductor is also included having windings formed at least in part in the substrate and at least a portion of the windings being formed around the magnetic core.

MULTIPLEXER WITH HYBRID ACOUSTIC PASSIVE FILTER
Aspects of this disclosure relate to a multiplexer with a hybrid acoustic passive filter. The multiplexer includes a plurality of filters configured to filter respective radio frequency signals, a shared filter coupled between each of the plurality of filters and a common node, and a radio frequency filter coupled to the common node. At least a first filter of the plurality of filters includes acoustic resonators and a non-acoustic passive component. Related multiplexers, wireless communication devices, and methods are disclosed.
COMMON-MODE NOISE FILTER
A common-mode noise filter is provided, and comprises a first transmission structure and a second transmission structure. At least one first transmission unit is connected between a first signal input end and a first signal output end of the first transmission structure in series. At least one second transmission unit is connected between a second signal input end and a second signal output end of the second transmission structure in series. Two first capacitors are connected between the first signal input end and the second signal input end in series, and connected at a first node together. A first common-mode noise suppression unit is connected between the first node and a reference potential, and comprises a second capacitor and a first lossy element connected to the second capacitor in series or parallel. The first common-mode noise suppression unit can absorb a common-mode noise via the first lossy element.

A DC filter device includes: a first filter device connection; a second filter device connection; a third filter device connection; a fourth filter device connection; a coil core; at least one first coil arranged on the coil core, the at least one first coil being connected in between the first filter device connection and the third filter device connection; at least one second coil arranged on the coil core, the at least one second coil being connected in between the second filter device connection and the fourth filter device connection; and a third coil arranged on the coil core, the third coil having a first coil connection and a second coil connection. The first coil connection and the second coil connection are connected to one another via a circuit device, which circuit device has a resistor.

A reception-side IC chip (1a) includes a pad (15) which is connected to a transmission line (2) which is outside the chip and has a characteristic impedance Z0 of 50Ω, a signal line (16), one end of which is connected to the pad (15), a reception-side input unit circuit (10) configured to receive a signal (S) transmitted from a transmission-side IC chip via the transmission line (2), a 50-Ω termination resistor (11), for impedance matching, which is connected between a predetermined voltage and the other end of the signal line (16) and is configured to terminate the transmission line (2), and a capacitor (12) inserted between a node (A) of the signal line (16) and the termination resistor (11) and an input terminal (In) of the reception-side input unit circuit (10). A DC-blocking circuit is formed by the capacitor (12).
Hybrid acoustic LC filter with harmonic suppression
Aspects of this disclosure relate to hybrid acoustic LC filter with harmonic suppression. The hybrid acoustic LC filter includes a hybrid passive/acoustic and a non-acoustic LC filter cascaded with the hybrid passive/acoustic filter. The hybrid passive/acoustic filter can be configured to filter a radio frequency signal. The hybrid passive/acoustic filter can include acoustic resonators and a non-acoustic passive component. The non-acoustic LC filter can be configured to suppress a harmonic of the radio frequency signal. The non-acoustic LC filter can be a low pass filter or a harmonic notch filter, for example. Related multiplexers, wireless communication devices, and methods are disclosed.
