IMPLANT
An implant with which a bladder neck can be treated in a simple and reliable manner. This is achieved by an implant, in particular a removable implant, having a pressure structure for expanding the bladder neck of a person. This pressure structure exerts local pressure on the tissue of the bladder neck. The pressure structure can be connected to a holding for handling. This holding, which may be a wire or a thread or a rod, can be used to insert the implant or the pressure structure through the urethra into the bladder neck and, if necessary, to retrieve the pressure structure from the patient's body after the end of the treatment.

An implantable renal replacement therapy device may include: a first catheter configured to be inserted into a blood vessel in a subject's body; a pump in fluid communication with the first catheter, the pump is configured to pump subject's blood from the blood vessel; a filter in fluid communication with the pump, the filter is configured to: receive the subject's blood from the pump, and filter the received blood to provide a filtered blood and a filtrate liquid, wherein the filter is in fluid communication with the first catheter to cause an outflow of the filtered blood from the filter to the blood vessel; and a second catheter in fluid communication with the filter and configured to be inserted into an urinary bladder in the subject's body to cause an outflow of the filtrate liquid from the filter to the urinary bladder.

PLUNGER END STOP AND ANTI-ROTATION ELEMENT FOR MEDICAL SYRINGE
A medical syringe system comprising a cylindrical barrel, plunger, and plunger end stop. The plunger is configured for moving axially inside the barrel to increase and decrease the internal volume of the barrel. The end stop is configured for preventing unintended extraction of the plunger from the barrel and for rotationally coupling the plunger to the barrel throughout the entire length of travel of the plunger inside the barrel. In one embodiment, the plunger end stop comprises a two-piece assembly that fits completely around the exterior circumference of the barrel with four prongs that extent through apertures in the barrel to engage with a minimum of two ribs of the shaft of the plunger.
Implantable pump for direct sodium removal therapy having on-board analyte sensor
Systems and methods for performing Direct Sodium Removal (DSR) therapy are provided in which an implantable device includes a pump coupled to an inlet catheter designed for placement in a patient's peritoneal cavity, an outlet catheter designed to be coupled to the patient's bladder, and is operably coupled to an analyte sensor, the pump programmed to transfer and/or cease transfer of fluid from the patient's peritoneal cavity to the patient's bladder for voiding responsive to a level of analyte detected by the analyte sensor. In addition, the system may include a processor that computes an amount of analyte transferred per pumping session.
Catheter
A catheter insertable into a urethra for installation in a user's bladder and urethra, the catheter comprising: a urine conduit comprising a first urine inlet and a urine outlet; and an inlet protector extending outwardly from the urine conduit from a position between the first urine inlet and the urine outlet, where the inlet protector functions to protect the urine inlet by separating it from contact with the bladder wall and thus keeping it out of contact with tissue.
