Electronic headphone
A headphone includes a pair of right and left headphone units, a resilient band formed substantially into a U shape to be mounted on a human head, and a pair of arm members. The device has a padded Lycra like band with Bluetooth infused speakers that are placed around the crown of the head and over the ears. The headphone device will stay in place at all times and eliminates possible slippage.
Waterproof enclosure for electronic device
A waterproof enclosure is provided with a bag including an internal space configured to receive an electronic device, a hole disposed at a forward end, and a sealable opening disposed at a position other than the hole wherein the internal space communicates with both the hole and the sealable opening; a flexible sleeve sealingly disposed in the hole and including an axial channel communicating with both the internal space and a space externally of the bag; and a flexible plug disposed in the channel and including an axial tunnel having a forward end and a rear end, and a crack axially extending from the forward end of the tunnel to a rear end of the tunnel and radially extending from the tunnel to a peripheral surface of the plug.
Sensor platform for context-aware experimental research
A platform for context-aware experimentation includes a housing for one or more sensors for obtaining data pertaining to an on-going experiment, a communications subsystem for transmitting data obtained by the sensors, and a microcontroller for receiving data from the sensors, providing it to the communications subsystem, and possibly controlling the sensors. The housing may be a tube, which may be configured to hold a sample and may have a cap, or a waterproof package, which may have an opening to admit at least part of a sample. The platform may include a power source. The platform may include a computer processor, located outside the housing, for analyzing the data obtained by the sensors, determining the experimental context in which the sensors are operating and/or which experimental step in a protocol is being performed, and/or reminding users of required parameters for the steps in the protocol.
PORTABLE ALARM SYSTEM
A portable alarm system is disclosed. The portable alarm system includes a portable base station, which has an outer housing that encloses a power supply and a watertight secondary protective housing. The secondary protective housing encloses a controller and a cellular modem that are electrically connected to each other. A super capacitor is configured to maintain a store of energy and that is electrically connected to the controller and the cellular modem to provide power thereto is also enclosed in the watertight secondary protective housing.
Mobile terminal
A mobile terminal comprises: a metallic frame; a first cover and a second cover coupled to a front surface and a rear surface of the metallic frame, respectively; and a first waterproof layer and a second waterproof layer formed between the first cover and the metallic frame, and between the second cover and the metallic frame, respectively, wherein the metallic frame includes: a base portion configured to support a display unit formed on the front surface of the metallic frame; and an edge portion formed along an outer periphery of the base portion so as to radiate heat generated from the base portion, and exposed to outside of the mobile terminal between the first cover and the second cover.
MOISTURE RESISTANT MOBILE PHONE CASE
A phone case made of durable, high grade plastic, aluminum, or similar material in the form of a base and door is disclosed. The door is attached to the base with either an elongate hinge or first and second pins mounted in the base and about which the door pivots from an open to a closed position and back again. The base is designed to receive and seat the phone snugly therein, and is preferably shaped to enclose the phone in a substantially rigid and compact housing that conforms with the shape of the phone. The door preferably pivots from the lower portion of the base about the hinge, and a latching mechanism is positioned at the top of the base's opening to capture and secure the door when closed. The tolerances of the fit between the door and the base are such that moisture will not seep into the case when the door is closed.
HOUSING UNIT
This housing unit is provided with: a first resin container that houses therein a wireless base station to which a cable is connected; and a second resin container that is disposed anterior or posterior to the first resin container in the direction in which the cable extends, and that has the interior thereof connected with the interior of the first resin container. The first resin container is provided with a drainage part comprising: a crown section that has a height position higher than a boundary portion and a boundary portion with the second resin container; and a curved surface and a curved surface where the height position becomes increasingly lower from the crown section towards the boundary portion and the boundary portion, and meanwhile, the second resin container has a drain-receiving part which has a height position lower than the boundary portion and the boundary portion, and which is for receiving drainage water from the drainage part.
Sealing unit and wireless intercom device using the same
A sealing unit used to block liquid comprises a sealing block, a receiving hole, a wire-through hole, and a sealing piece. The receiving hole penetrates the sealing block. The sealing piece is received in the receiving hole. A surface of the sealing block is in contact with the receiving hole. A material of the sealing piece is elastic material. The sealing piece is penetrated by the wire-through hole and forms an open penetrating structure. The present disclosure also provides a wireless intercom device using the sealing unit.
Sterile enclosure for a hand-held electronic device and methods of using thereof
A sterile enclosure to bring a non-sterile hand-held electronic device such as a smartphone or a tablet into a sterile field comprises a rigid frame, a rigid base and a device holder configured to accept the hand-held device thereon. The use of the device holder to contain the hand-held device prior to engaging with the base and positioning the device therein, allows avoiding contamination of sterile components during use. A sterility indicator is also provided to continuously monitor the sterile enclosure for a possible breach in sterility while inside the sterile field.
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A portable electronic device is provided. The portable electronic device includes a front glass cover that forms the front of the electronic device, a back cover that forms the back of the electronic device, a bezel that surrounds the space formed between the front and back covers and is formed integrally with, or separately from, the back cover, wherein the bezel has a first opening with a first size and a second opening with a second size smaller than the first size, the second opening being disposed adjacent to the first opening, a display device that is located in the space and has a screen area exposed through the front cover, a tray structure that is inserted into the space through the first opening and is detachably mounted, the tray structure having a recess in which a memory card and/or a subscriber identification module (SIM) card is received, a first member that holds the tray structure when the tray structure is inserted into the space and a second member that allows a first member to release the tray structure by the press of an external member that is inserted through the second opening, and a waterproof structure that includes a first portion that is movably inserted into the second opening, a first end portion that makes contact with the second member by the press of the external member, and a second end portion that is pressed by the external member.
