A transmission antenna includes the transmission coil, a first capacitor and a second capacitor connected in series with the transmission coil, and a switch provided in parallel to a series connection circuit of the second coil of the transmission coil and the second capacitor. A wireless power transmitter includes the transmission antenna and a bridge circuit that drives the transmission antenna. A charger includes the wireless power transmitter.
RESONANT LOOP OR ANTENNA FOR WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER AND SECURE COMMUNICATION
A resonant antenna for long-range wireless power transfer and communications. The antenna may be powered by a source at a frequency that is resonant for the antenna or harmonic(s) of the resonant frequency. The loop or antenna may be a wire laid out in a physically large network or constitute wiring of a building or other place. The antenna may be placed in a high index material, which results in the antenna to be a physically smaller size for the same electrical size. The antenna may be driven with an electrical power signal. Power may be picked up by another or secondary antenna from the source antenna at the resonant frequency or harmonic(s). Communications may also occur between the antennas. Because of a near-field effect, emanation of electromagnetic fields is primarily limited extensively to just between the antennas. A little stray electromagnetic field exists that others cannot easily intercept.
Housing of electronic device and electronic device
An electronic device and a housing for the electronic device are provided. The housing includes a metal part. The metal part includes at least one spiral slot formed on the metal part A portion of the metal part which is disposed between an innermost loop and an outermost loop of the spiral slot forms a spiral metal coil by being spaced by the spiral slot. The spiral metal coil is configured as an antenna radiation element electrically connected with an antenna circuit inside the electronic device, and the spiral slot is filled with an insulating material.
