METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING SERVICE CONTINUITY IN MBSFN SERVICE BOUNDARY AREA
The present specification provides a method and an apparatus for a terminal to maintain continuity of multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) service in a multicast broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) service boundary area. The terminal receives, from a first cell, an MBMS cell list including information about an MBSFN area. The first cell is a cell where the terminal provides the MBMS service via an MBMS bearer. The terminal performs the MBMS service via a unicast bearer of a second cell on the basis of the received MBMS cell list.
eMBMS over LAN
There is provided an LTE device configured to connect to an LTE network, connect to or provide a LAN, and to provide eMBMS services over the LAN.
Method and apparatus for notifying a subframe configuration of multicast broadcast single frequency network
The present invention provides a method for notifying Multicast Broadcast Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) subframe configuration, which comprises the following steps: a first node sends its MBSFN subframe configuration, via an X2 interface, to a second node with which the first node is connected; the first node receives the MBSFN subframe configuration of the second node as a feedback. According to the invention, a serving cell can obtain the MBSFN subframe configurations of the neighboring cells and/or RNs, so that rational utilization of resources is achieved according to the configurations. Therefore, interference between cells is reduced, and system capacity and efficiency are improved.
Geocast-based situation awareness
Geocast-based situation awareness utilizing a scalable, distributed ad hoc geocast protocol as a communication primitive, may provide a field common operating picture (FCOP) for providing location tracking, movement history, telemetry, and messaging in near real time to all operators in a scenario. Information may be transferred using a query/response geocast message protocol. Caching on devices may be utilized to gain scalability. A query message may have a payload containing a type indication and a header containing a description of a geocast region of intended reception, which may comprise the monitored region, the location of the monitorer, or any appropriate combination thereof. Response messages may be sent from devices located in the monitored region to an area containing the location of the sender of a query. A response message may contain monitored information, such as current location, telemetry data, and/or recent movement history, or the like.

Implementation method for transmission-priority seizing of LTE-based broadband cluster system
A method for implementing speaking right seizing of an LTE-based broadband cluster system, an MME, a network subsystem, a broadband wireless access subsystem and the LTE-based broadband cluster system are disclosed. The method includes: the broadband wireless access subsystem sending a trunking speaking right update request to the network subsystem, receiving trunking speaking right update accept message returned by the network subsystem, and sending the trunking speaking right update accept message to the speaking right seizing terminal; the broadband wireless access subsystem, the network subsystem and the speaking right terminal interacting to complete a trunking speaking right context modification; and the broadband wireless access subsystem receiving speaking right occupation prompt message sent by the network subsystem, and sending trunking speaking right occupation prompt message to the speaking right terminal and the speaking right seizing terminal via a multicast control channel of an eMBMS and updating configuration information.
Method and apparatus for reference signaling allocation and channel estimation in distributed antenna systems
An apparatus and method for transmitting reference signals in a communication system are provided. The method includes transmitting common reference signals of a first type from a transmitter to a plurality of receivers; transmitting receiver-specific reference signals of a second type from a plurality of distributed ports to a subset of the plurality of receivers; wherein the common reference signals of the first type and the receiver-specific reference signals of the second type are allocated to different resources from one another, and wherein the communication system includes the transmitter and the plurality of receivers and the transmitter uses a plurality of central ports and the plurality of distributed ports to transmit to the plurality of receivers.
Method and apparatus for providing multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) in wireless communication system
A method for receiving a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system; the UE therefore; a method for transmitting an MBMS by a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system; and the BS therefore are discussed. The method for receiving an MBMS by a UE according to one embodiment includes transmitting one or more system information blocks (SIBs); receiving a first MBMS interest indication message indicating whether MBMS reception is prioritized above unicast reception, when a predetermined SIB related to MBMS service continuity is included in the one or more SIBs; and receiving a second MBMS interest indication message according to a change of priority between the MBMS reception and the unicast reception.
Vehicle communication system for receiving frequency modulation and digital audio broadcast radio frequency bands
An antenna system for a vehicle that includes at least one radio frequency (RF) antenna that receives both a digital audio broadcasting (DAB) RF broadcast and a frequency modulation (FM) RF broadcast. A single amplifier coupled to one or more antennas is used to process both the DAB and FM broadcasts.
