A MIXING CONSOLE WITH SOLO OUTPUT
In live music performances it is desirable for a mixing console operator to be able to hear the result of all the processing of a single input signal provided by the various processing steps without the other input signals being present. This is achievable by providing a console (10) which processes an input signal independently of other input signals to produce an operator output signal (210), wherein the processing is arranged to be identical to that applied in combination to the same signal as it is processed, in combination with other signals, for the creation of an output mix (180).
POSITIONING ARRANGEMENT
The innovation relates to a method and a system for positioning objects, the method comprising detecting, by a central unit, signals from a plurality of receiver/transmitter units at least partly surrounding an area around the central unit; detecting, by the central unit, an absence of at least one signal from at least one of the plurality of receiver/transmitter units at least partly surrounding an area around the central unit; and determining a position of at least one object between the central unit and the at least one of the plurality of receiver/transmitter units based on the detected absence of the at least one signal.

System and method for generating an audio file
The present invention relates to a computer implemented system and method for generating an audio output file. The method including using one or more processors to perform steps of: receiving audio tracks, each audio track created according to audio parameters; separating each audio track into at least one selectable audio block, each audio block including audio content from a musical instrument involved in creating the audio track; assigning a unique identifier to each audio block; using the unique identifiers to select audio blocks, and generating the audio output by combining the audio blocks. The present invention prevents the use of the same combination of audio blocks in the generation of audio output to ensure that the audio output files generated a sufficiently unique. Also provided are audio file recording, editing and mixing modules enabling a user to have full creative control over mix and other parameters to modify as desired the audio file generated.

METHOD, APPARATUS AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIA FOR VIRTUAL POSITIONING OF A REMOTE PARTICIPANT IN A SOUND SPACE
Method, apparatus, and computer-readable media for virtual positioning one or more remote participants in a sound space includes structure and/or function whereby sound signals are received from a plurality of microphones in the shared space. One or more processors identifies one or more sound sources in the shared space, based on the received sound signals. The processors(s) map respective locations of the sound source(s) in the shared space, based on the received sound signals. The processor(s) receive from the remote participant(s) signals corresponding to respective position placements of the remote participant(s) in the shared space. The processor(s) mix the received sound signals to output corresponding sound signals for each participant based on relationships between (i) the respective locations of the sound source(s) and (ii) the respective position placements of the remote participant(s) in the shared space. The processor(s) then transmit the corresponding sound signals to the remote participant(s).

METHOD FOR ENHANCED CONCERT AUDIO EXPERIENCE
An enhanced concert audio experience arrangement includes a mixing console that receives a plurality of audio signals. Each audio signal is received from a respective microphone of a plurality of microphones. The mixing console mixes the audio signals into a plurality of combinations of audio signals. Each combination includes one or more selected ones of the audio signals. A transceiver is communicatively coupled to the mixing console and transmits air-borne signals including the combinations of audio signals. A mobile personal electronic device is communicatively coupled to the transceiver and enables a human user to select one of the combinations of audio signals transmitted by the transceiver, and listen to the selected combination of audio signals.
