METHOD FOR ENHANCED CONCERT AUDIO EXPERIENCE
An enhanced concert audio experience arrangement includes a mixing console that receives a plurality of audio signals. Each audio signal is received from a respective microphone of a plurality of microphones. The mixing console mixes the audio signals into a plurality of combinations of audio signals. Each combination includes one or more selected ones of the audio signals. A transceiver is communicatively coupled to the mixing console and transmits air-borne signals including the combinations of audio signals. A mobile personal electronic device is communicatively coupled to the transceiver and enables a human user to select one of the combinations of audio signals transmitted by the transceiver, and listen to the selected combination of audio signals.
Apparatus for labeling inputs of an audio mixing console system
An apparatus for labeling inputs at an audio mixer is provided. The apparatus includes an audio mixer console including a processor and being configured to receive a test command from a mobile device. The audio mixer console is further configured to transmit, from a port, an audio signal to a playback device, the port being associated with a channel of the audio mixing console, and receive, from the mobile device, a label signal including a channel label to be assigned to the channel from the mobile device in response to a user input. The audio mixer console is further configured to assign the channel label to the channel in response to the label signal.
Apparatus for labeling inputs of an audio mixing console system
An apparatus for labeling inputs at an audio mixer is provided. The apparatus includes an audio mixer console including a processor and being configured to receive a test command from a mobile device. The audio mixer console is further configured to transmit, from a port, an audio signal to a playback device, the port being associated with a channel of the audio mixing console, and receive, from the mobile device, a label signal including a channel label to be assigned to the channel from the mobile device in response to a user input. The audio mixer console is further configured to assign the channel label to the channel in response to the label signal.
AUDIO HUB APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
An audio hub is disclosed including a plurality of daughterboards and a mainboard communicatively coupled to each of the plurality of daughterboards. Each of the plurality of daughterboards is associated with an audio channel and each audio channel is independent from the other of the audio channels associated with the other ones of the plurality of daughter boards. Further, each daughterboard includes at least one wireless transceiver operably configured to wirelessly transmit an audio signal associated with the corresponding audio channel from a musical instrument over a network to the audio playback device. The mainboard is configured so that, for each of the plurality of daughterboards, the mainboard is operable to independently modify at least one characteristic of the audio signal from the musical instrument before the audio signal is transmitted to the audio playback device.

A system for simultaneous visual data presentation is provided having a processor and memory with instructions for execution by the processor for: receiving attended data; receiving unattended data; and generating presentation data. The presentation is suitable for simultaneous presentation of the attended data and the unattended data in a manner in which the unattended data at least partially overlaps the attended data and the unattended data does not interfere with the attended data by replacing, erasing, or suppressing the attended data, and vice versa. The presented unattended data gives cues that the user can sense and provide information to the user while attending to the presented attended data, without attending to the presented unattended data.

A system for simultaneous visual data presentation is provided having a processor and memory with instructions for execution by the processor for: receiving attended data; receiving unattended data; and generating presentation data. The signal processing accentuates characteristic traits in the events, reflective of contextually relevant events that should be included in a final composite audio output for transmission. If the comparison of samples to the feature templates suggests a high probability of a correspondence, then buffered audio for that channel is introduced into a final audio mix.
