METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MONITORING, DETECTING, TESTING, DIAGNOSING AND/OR MITIGATING INTERFERENCE IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A system that incorporates aspects of the subject disclosure may perform operations including, for example, receiving, via an antenna, a signal generated by a communication device, detecting passive intermodulation interference in the signal, the interference generated by one or more transmitters unassociated with the communication device, and the interference determined from signal characteristics associated with a signaling protocol used by the one or more transmitters. Other embodiments are disclosed.
SOUNDING REFERENCE TRANSMISSION
A method, wireless device and network node for performing sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission. According to one aspect a method includes receiving a definition of one or more SRS resource sets to be configured, comprising at least one SRS transmission setting. The method further includes receiving an indication of a selected SRS resource set to use for a SRS transmission, from the one or more configured SRS resource sets and determining a precoding configuration for the SRS transmission based on the selected SRS resource set and the at least one SRS transmission setting. The method also includes transmitting a SRS according to the determined precoding configuration.
User equipment, base station, and method for modifying demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequences
Provided by an embodiment of the present invention are a user equipment and base station that may be used in a wireless communication system, or a method performed by the user equipment and the base station. The user equipment according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: a receiving unit that is configured to receive multiple access signature information for the user equipment from a base station, wherein the multiple access signature information includes correction information indicating a reference signal sequence sent with respect to the user equipment; and a control unit that is configured to determine the reference signal sequence of the user equipment according to the received correction information.
PROBABILITY INDICATION FOR INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT
A first network node may identify at least one of a usage probability or an interference probability of each Rx beam of the first network node in a plurality of Tx-Rx beam pairs associated with the first network node and the second network node. The usage probability may include a usage metric that indicates a likelihood of using a beam. The interference probability may include an interference metric that indicates a likelihood of a Tx beam of the second network node interfering with an Rx beam of the first network node. The first network node may transmit a first indication of the usage probability or the interference probability of each Rx beam in the plurality of Tx-Rx beam pairs. The second network node may receive the first indication and adjust a beam schedule for at least one of the plurality of Tx-Rx beam pairs based on the received first indication.
Device and method for CQI feedback to enable joint DL-UL scheduling in full duplex systems
Devices and methods of providing joint scheduling in a full-duplex LTE system are generally described. The UE measures intra-cell interference at the UE caused by a UL transmission from each intra-cell UE, calculates a ratio of the intra-cell interference over an average inter-cell interference, determines whether the intra-cell UE is an aggressor or non-aggressor based on whether the ratio exceeds a threshold, transmits at least some of the determinations to the eNB as feedback, and communicates with the eNB based on a schedule that is dependent on the feedback such that the UE is neither an aggressor nor is subject to interference from aggressors. The schedule may also be based on wideband CQI feedback based on a ratio of an average overall DL interference plus noise over the average inter-cell interference plus noise and/or subband CQI feedback based on SINR measurements.
Signature-domain multiplexing for non-orthogonal multiple access
A user equipment for operating in a wireless network, wherein the wireless network utilizes a first number of resources for serving communicating UEs, comprises a wireless interface for communicating in the wireless network; and a controller configured for selecting, for communicating in the wireless network, from a second number of predefined subsets of the first number of resources, at least one subset. The second number is larger than the first number and the second number of predefined subsets is based on a mapping of the first number of resources into the second number of subsets using an Euler-square mapping.
Terminal apparatus and base station apparatus
A receiver configured to receive first information on a configuration of a demodulation reference signal via higher layer signaling and receive downlink control information including second information on transmission of the demodulation reference signal via a physical downlink control channel, and a transmitter configured to transmit the demodulation reference signal and uplink data are included. The transmitter transmits the demodulation reference signal and the uplink data by using a same OFDM symbol based on at least the first information and the second information.
