Footwear sole structure with compliant membrane
A sole structure for an article of footwear includes an outsole and a membrane layer. The outsole has a plurality of protrusions that extend from a base layer. The membrane layer extends between the plurality of protrusions and includes at least a portion that is separated from the base layer by a distance. The membrane layer forms an outer surface of the article of footwear, and is configured to elastically deform toward the base layer in response to an applied force.
Wearable exercise apparatuses
An exercise apparatus includes a pair of apparatuses wearable on feet of a user. Each apparatus is configurable between expanded configurations and compressed configurations to simulate a selected motion when the user wearing the pair of apparatuses travels by foot. One of the apparatuses can move towards an expanded configuration while the other apparatus moves towards a compressed configuration.

CUSHION FOR REMOVABLE ATTACHMENT TO FOOTWEAR
A removable cushion for supplementing footwear is shown and described. The removable cushion includes a resilient sole, a heel pocket, a closure encircling the footwear or body of the user proximate the heel pocket to retain the removable cushion on the footwear at the heel, and a front closure encircling the front of the foot to retain the removable cushion on the front of the footwear at the front of the foot. The closures may comprise encircling straps bearing hook and loop fastener. The resilient sole may have a low wall projecting upwardly at an open toe area and between the heel pocket and the front closure. The resilient sole may comprise closed cell foam and may have treads and an elevated heel.
SLIDING-SHOE SOLE
The sliding-shoe sole is a device that is permanently attached or removably positioned on fitness shoes or the like. The sliding-shoe sole is fabricated from materials that reduce the degree of factional contact between the sole and a contacting sur -face. The sliding-shoe sole may encompass a portion or the entire bottom of the fitness shoe and portions of the heel, toe and side areas of the shoe. This arrangement enables the wearer to participate more fully in exercises and/or dances that require the foot to not only slide and/or glide along the dance floor or exercise surface along the shoe bottom, but also along the shoe heel, toe and side.

WEARABLE DEVICE WITH ONE OR MORE RETRACTABLE WHEELS
In a first aspect, a wearable device is provided for mounting to a foot of a user. The wearable device includes a support structure having a longitudinal axis, and having an interior. The support structure is positioned to support a foot of a user, wherein the support structure has a ground engagement surface. The wearable device further includes a first wheel shaft having a first wheel connected thereto, and a second wheel shaft having a second wheel connected thereto. The first and second wheel shafts are connected to the support structure and are movable between a stowage position in which the first and second wheel shafts hold the first and second wheels above the ground engagement surface and a rolling position in which the first and second wheel shaft hold the first and second wheels below the ground engagement surface. In both the stowage and rolling positions, the first and second wheels are laterally outside of the interior of the support structure.
