Management Method and Apparatus
A management method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: obtaining, by a second management unit, affinity information, where the affinity information is used to configure affinity and/or anti-affinity between a target object and another object, or is used to configure affinity and/or anti-affinity between a child object of the target object and another object; sending, by the second management unit, a management request of the target object to a first management unit, where the management request carries the affinity information; and managing, by the first management unit, the target object according to the affinity information, after receiving the management request that is of the target object and that is sent by the second management unit. In embodiments of the present invention, effective management of a network service unit or a virtualized network function unit can be implemented.

Method and apparatus for managing managed function object
A method and an apparatus for managing a managed function object are provided, and relate to the field of communications technologies. In the embodiments of the present invention, a management request for a managed function object is received. The management request carries indication information of an application, and the indication information of the application is used to instruct to associate the managed function object with the application. The managed function object is managed based on the indication information of the application. To be specific, when the management request that carries the indication information of the application is received, the managed function object is flexibly associated with any application indicated by the indication information, so as to combine the managed function object with the any application, thereby externally providing a network service.

Method and system for managing network-to-network interconnection
This disclosure describes methods and systems to externally manage network-to-network interconnect configuration data in conjunction with a centralized database subsystem. An example of the methods includes receiving and storing, in the centralized database subsystem, data indicative of user intent to interconnect at least a first network and a second network. The example method further includes, based at least in part on the data indicative of user intent, determining and storing, in the centralized database subsystem, a network intent that corresponds to the user intent. The example method further includes providing data indicative of the network intent from the centralized database subsystem to a first data plane adaptor, associated with the first network, and a second data plane adaptor, associated with the second network.
Remote data management
Remote data management, including: receiving, at a data storage service from a client device and via a remote data management application program interface (API), a data object; receiving, at the data storage service from the client device and via the remote data management API, a message including an indication of updated metadata and including an identification of a particular data object stored by the data storage service; and generating, in accordance with the updated metadata received from the client device, a modified data object that is a reduced version of the particular data object specified by the message received from the client device, wherein the reduced version of the particular data object is stored by the data storage service.
Object synchronization of server nodes in a network computing environment
A management server modifies a set of objects which is utilized by the management server to manage a network computing environment including server node. The management server updates a set of container objects in response to modifying the set of objects. Each container object includes attributes to specify a unique identifier of the container object, to specify an update generation number of the container object, and to specify a unique identifier of an object that is associated with the container object. An object synchronization process is performed using the updated set of container objects. The object synchronization process includes identifying each container object having update generation number which is greater than a last update generation number of the given server node, and sending the identified container objects to the given server node to update the set of local objects of the given server node based on the identified container objects.
Sharing configuration resources for network devices among applications
In an example, a method includes receiving, by a network management system (NMS), a configuration request comprising first configuration data for a network device, the first configuration data defining a data structure comprising a first property/value pair; generating, by the NMS from the first configuration data, a corresponding first path/value pair for the first property/value pair, wherein a path of the first path/value pair uniquely identifies the first path/value pair in an associative data structure; modifying, by the NMS, the associative data structure based on the first path/value pair; generating, by the NMS, from the associative data structure, a configuration resource comprising second configuration data for the network device, the second configuration data comprising a second property/value pair that corresponds to the first path/value pair; and sending, by the NMS, the second configuration data to the network device to modify a configuration of the network device.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR OPTIMIZING BANDWIDTH CONSUMPTION IN SUPPORT OF INTENSE NETWORK-WISE HEALTH ASSESSMENT
This disclosure describes techniques for providing a network diagnostic system with on-premise node processing and cloud node processing to optimize bandwidth usage and decrease memory footprint. The on-premise node may receive streaming telemetry from connected network devices and encode to the telemetry data into filtered data objects. The on-premise node may determine whether the state of a network device has changed to determine to push the filtered data object to a cloud node for further diagnostic analysis. The cloud node may include a gateway and a pool of proxy servers, wherein each proxy server is designated to perform diagnostic analysis on a single product type.
