Techniques for symbol transmission with modified padding duration
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may receive an indication of a subcarrier spacing (SCS) for communications in a plurality of transmission time intervals (TTIs), where a TTI include a set of symbols, a corresponding set of cyclic prefixes, and a padding duration. The device may receive a control signal indicating a configuration for the padding duration, at least a portion of which may be reallocated as one or more additional symbols with corresponding one or more additional cyclic prefixes. In some examples, the one or more additional cyclic prefixes and at least a first portion of the set of cyclic prefixes may be reduced in duration in comparison with a remaining portion of the set of cyclic prefixes. The device may communicate during the padding duration using the one or more additional symbols and the corresponding one or more additional cyclic prefixes.
Communication of vehicle-to-everything support of a cell between base stations
A first base station receives, from a second base station, a message comprising at least one parameter of a first cell of the second base station. The at least one parameter indicates that the first cell supports at least one vehicle-to-everything (V2X) service. A handover decision for a wireless device is made. The first base station sends, to the second base station, a handover request for the wireless device based on the handover decision and the message.

System and method for remotely managing configuration of industrial machines
This invention describes a method for detecting a misconfiguration of a machine function of a first industrial machine (M1). A set (N) of second industrial machines (MS) from said several other industrial machines (MO) is created by identifying a predetermined feature of the first industrial machine (M1) in several other industrial machines (MO). A first configuration value is created, which relates to the machine function of the first industrial machine (M1), and a second configuration value is created which relates to the machine function of the second industrial machines (MS). Depending on a relation of the first configuration value to the second configuration value a deviation value is determined by a configuration anomaly detection module (CADM). For detecting the misconfiguration of the first industrial machine (M1) the deviation value is compared with a predetermined threshold value.

Method and apparatus for configuring uplink time-frequency resource set, and method and apparatus for receiving uplink time-frequency resource set
A method and an apparatus for configuring an uplink time-frequency resource set, and a method and an apparatus for receiving an uplink time-frequency resource set. The configuration method includes: configuring at least one uplink time-frequency resource set for a user configured with an uplink transmission multiplexing mode, wherein the uplink time-frequency resource set includes time-frequency resource units on which the user performs rate matching; and transmitting one or more indication groups to the user to indicate at least one of the uplink time-frequency resource sets, wherein each uplink time-frequency resource set is indicated by at least one of the indication groups.

System and method for an extender device
Many customers have difficulty setting up a new extender device in the customer premises environment to improve their multimedia service. Some embodiments include configuring an extender device based on existing WiFi network credentials to minimize errors. Some embodiments include an application for mobile devices that may enable the transfer of network credentials from existing multimedia devices on the WiFi network to configure a new extender device in real time. For example, the configuration may be based on a customer account, a corresponding environment, and corresponding multimedia devices associated with the customer account. The extender device may be configured with the network credentials (e.g., a WiFi service set identifier (SSID) and password) that is common to the corresponding multimedia devices associated with the customer account.
