Establishing Time-Sensitive Communications Between Industrial End Devices and an Ethernet Network
A method for establishing time-sensitive communication from at least one end device in an industrial plant into an Ethernet network with extended functionality for time-sensitive communication includes obtaining a first information model of the at least one end device, obtaining a second information model of the Ethernet network; determining first configuration information; determining second configuration information; transmitting the first configuration information to the at least one end device; and transmitting the second configuration information to the at least one network device.

EXPANDABLE SECURITY SYSTEM
A computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a base station of a first security system, an identification of a portable security system. The method further includes adding, by the base station, the portable security system as a sensor to a plurality of sensors monitored by the first security system. The method further includes configuring, by the base station, the portable security system in protect-mode, wherein the portable security system sounds an alarm in response to a sensor from the second system indicating a security-breach. The method further includes in response to the alarm from the portable security system, generating, by the base station, an alarm event of the first security system.

INTEGRATED BROADBAND NETWORK GATEWAY (BNG) DEVICE FOR PROVIDING A BNG CONTROL PLANE FOR ONE OR MORE DISTRIBUTED BNG USER PLANE DEVICES
In some implementations, an integrated broadband network gateway (BNG) device may communicate management information with a particular distributed BNG user plane device. The integrated BNG device may communicate control packets with the particular distributed BNG user plane device. The integrated BNG device may communicate session control and state information with the particular distributed BNG user plane device. The management information, the control packets, and the session control and state information may be communicated via respective interfaces between the integrated BNG device and the particular distributed BNG user plane device. Accordingly, the integrated BNG device may provide a BNG control plane for the particular distributed BNG user plane device.

TERMINAL DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR TERMINAL DEVICE
Provided is a terminal device and the like that can switch a mode of operation as a terminal device in relation to an on-board device to which the terminal device is attached.
A terminal device T that is attached to an attachment target device M and that communicates with the attachment target device M comprises a switching means 1 that switches a mode of operation of the terminal device T on the basis of a state of attachment to the attachment target device M and a state of communication with the attachment target device M.

Configuring a multicast or broadcast wireless network
A Multicast-Broadcast over a Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) message may be multicasted to a cluster of network elements. Using multicasting or unicasting based on a number of unacknowledged network elements of the cluster of network elements, the MBSFN message may be retransmitted to unacknowledged network elements in the cluster of network elements, subsequent to a time period to receive an acknowledgement message from a first and a second network element.
