FACILITATING PERFORMANCE OF NODE MANAGEMENT ACTIONS IN A COMPUTING INFRASTRUCTURE HAVING DIVERSE NODE INTERFACES
An aspect of the present disclosure facilitates performance of node management actions in a computing infrastructure having diverse node interfaces. In one embodiment, a configuration data is maintained, the configuration data specifying plugins designed to communicate with different node interfaces installed on the nodes of a computing infrastructure. The plugins are corresponding implementations of a common client interface. Upon receiving from the client application, via the common client interface, a management action to be performed on a desired node, the configuration data is inspected to identify a specific plugin corresponding to the node interface installed on the desired node. The node management action is then performed on the desired node using the identified specific plugin. Accordingly, the client application can be implemented agnostic to the specific node interfaces installed on a node.
Methods and apparatus for optimizing bandwidth consumption in support of intense network-wise health assessment
This disclosure describes techniques for providing a network diagnostic system with on-premise node processing and cloud node processing to optimize bandwidth usage and decrease memory footprint. The on-premise node may receive streaming telemetry from connected network devices and encode to the telemetry data into filtered data objects. The on-premise node may determine whether the state of a network device has changed to determine to push the filtered data object to a cloud node for further diagnostic analysis. The cloud node may include a gateway and a pool of proxy servers, wherein each proxy server is designated to perform diagnostic analysis on a single product type.

CONTROL DEVICE, CONTROL SYSTEM, NETWORK SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
High-speed control of disaggregated network systems is implemented. A control device includes a main memory and an interface. The main memory shares management information contained in memory spaces possessed by a plurality of respective component devices connected and stores the management information as integrated management information. When the management information is to be updated, the interface transmits an update signal for updating the management information to the component devices and receives a response signal to the update signal from the component devices.

MODEL-DRIVEN SERVICE ROLLBACK MECHANISM FOR DATA INTEGRITY
Systems and methods for rollback of model-based provisioned network device configuration including a memory capable of storing a model-based provisioned data template that includes a data template sequence. Data associated with a request to transmit a target object request message are received and transmitted following a retrieval message that determines pre-configuration data of the target device. The pre-configuration data is stored and the target object request message is sent specifying CRUD semantics. A notification is received indicating an outcome of the execution and, if the execution outcome is unsuccessful, a rollback stack is retrieved that specifies CRUD semantics and the pre-configuration parameters are retrieved to restore the target device to a pre-request state. If the execution outcome is successful, a second target object request message is retrieved from a list of target devices.
Systems and methods to utilize a network fabric design via drawing import
Networking management tools enable network designers and administrator to design, configure, deploy, expand, and manage network fabrics. However, such tools may be limited—particularly when dealing with a deployed network fabric. In one or more embodiments, given a network drawing generated using a diagramming application and a set of defined stencils of network elements in which one or more network elements in the network drawing include associated network data properties, the network drawing is imported into a fabric management application. The fabric management application recognizes the network elements and the associated network data properties of the network drawing. The imported network drawing is used to map a network fabric represented by the imported network drawing into a representation usable by the fabric management tool. In one or more embodiments, configuration data may also be imported and used to map the network fabric.

Recommendation generation based on selection of selectable elements of visual representation
Some embodiments provide a novel method for collecting and reporting attributes of data flows associated with machines executing on a plurality of host computers to an analysis appliance and providing visual representations of the data to a user. Some embodiments provide a visual representation of the collected data that allows a user to select a set of machines and flows and initiate recommendation generation based on the selected machines and flows. The recommendation generation, in some embodiments, includes identifying flows for which rules have not been defined and filtering the identified rules to remove flows for which rules should not be defined. Some embodiments use the identified rues to identify services and groups associated with the rules and generate recommendations for rules, groups and services based on the identified flows, groups and services. The recommendations, in some embodiments, are implemented as a single PATCH API.
Information handling system physical component inventory to aid operational management through near field communication device interaction
NFC communications from a mobile phone to an information handling system initiates an inventory by a management controller of the information handling system. The inventory is provided to the mobile telephone with a second NFC communication so that an end user can see a visual depiction of the interior of the information handling system before opening the chassis of the system.
