APPLICATION MIGRATION SYSTEM
At a network-accessible service, a request is received from a client to enable access by a migration facilitator to a configuration record collection of the client. A response to a migration candidate identification query is generated using the configuration record collection and transmitted to the facilitator. An indication of a proposal associated with migrating at least a portion of the client's computing environment to a different computing environment with assistance from the facilitator is provided to the client.
Hierarchical API for a SDDC
Some embodiments of the invention provide a method for deploying software-implemented resources in a software defined datacenter (SDDC). The method initially receives a hierarchical API command that, in a declarative format, specifies several operation requests for several software-defined (SD) resources at several resource levels of a resource hierarchy in the SDDC. The method parses the API command to identify the SD resources at the plurality of resource levels. Based on the parsed API command, the method deploys the SD resources by using a deployment process that ensures that any first SD resource on which a second SD resource depends is deployed before the second resource. In some embodiments, a second SD resource depends on a first SD resource when the second SD resource is a child of the first SD resource. Alternatively, or conjunctively, a second SD resource can also depend on a first SD resource in some embodiments when the second SD resource has some operational dependency on the first SD resource. In some embodiments, the method parses the API command by identifying several sets of SD resources, with each set having one or more SD resources at one resource level. The deployment in some embodiments deploys the identified SD resource sets at higher resource levels before deploying SD resources at lower resource levels.
PROVISIONING A SERVICE USING FILE DISTRIBUTION TECHNOLOGY
According to certain embodiments, a provisioning manager comprises an interface and processing circuitry. The interface is configured to obtain provisioning data from a provisioning database. The processing circuitry is configured to prepare one or more configuration files based on the provisioning data and provide the one or more configuration files to the one or more service instances using file distribution technology. The one or more configuration files indicate how to provision one or more service instances used in sending or receiving electronic messages.
Pico-Base Station Configuration Method and Apparatus, Storage Medium and Electronic Apparatus
Embodiments of the disclosure provides a pico-base station configuration method and apparatus, a storage medium and an electronic apparatus, and relate to the technical field of wireless network pico-base station technology. The method includes: a request message for requesting data configuration of a pico-base station is acquired, wherein the request message includes parameters of a pico-base station configuration model object and a pico-base station configuration model sub-object; the request message is verified; a thread corresponding to the request message in a sqlite database is called to execute warehousing processing on the parameters of the pico-base station configuration model object and the pico-base station configuration model sub-object, in a case where the request message passes the verification; and configuration validation processing is carried out on the pico-base station configuration model object and the pico-base station configuration model sub-object, in a case of determining that the warehousing processing is executed successfully; with adoption of the disclosure, the problems of low data transmission speed and low data updating efficiency can be solved, and the effect of improving the data transmission efficiency is achieved.
MANAGING TRAFFIC CONTROL IN A NETWORK MITIGATING DDOS
Embodiments are provided for managing routes of data traffic within a network. The management may be performed via a graphical user interface that interacts with a Web server to update a configuration file. The configuration file can be converted to router management commands by a network management device (e.g., a BGP speaker). The commands can then be sent to border routers for controlling network traffic. Embodiments are also provided for capturing and logging routing updates made in a network.
DEVICE ABNORMALITY DETECTION METHOD AND DEVICE NETWORKING SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a device abnormality detection method and a device networking system. The method includes if ledger data of a specific network device in the plurality of network devices changes, synchronizing, by the specific network device, ledger data after the change or difference data to other network devices than the specific network device in the device networking system, where the specific network device is any network device in the device networking system, and the difference data is changed data in the ledger data; and further includes determining whether the plurality of network devices is abnormal according to the difference data.
Methods and apparatus to implement cloud specific functionality in a cloud agnostic system
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed that implement cloud functionality in a cloud agnostic system. An example apparatus includes: at least one memory; instructions in the apparatus; and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: generate a blueprint including components of requested cloud resources and their relationships; provide an allocation flag to the blueprint, the allocation flag indicating the requested cloud resources are to be partially provisioned; transmit a first provisioning request to a cloud management platform, the cloud management platform to manage a plurality of cloud resources; and in response to the cloud management platform selecting cloud resources, transmit a second provisioning request to fully provision the selected cloud resources, the second provisioning request including constraints specific to the selected cloud resources.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMOTELY UPDATING FIRMWARE IN BATCHES, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A method and apparatus for remotely updating firmware in batches, and a computer-readable storage medium. Wherein the method is applied to a DHCP server connected with a Baseboard Management Controllers (BMC) of each server node. The DHCP server assigns IP addresses to each server node in advance, and records a BMC MAC address of each server node at the same time. When detecting that a firmware version to be matched stored in itself is updated, authorized server nodes and corresponding BMC IP addresses are determined on the basis of each BMC MAC address and authorization state. The firmware version of the corresponding authorized server nodes is read according to the BMC IP address of each authorized server, and a plurality of servers to be upgraded is determined by comparing the firmware version of each authorized server node with the firmware version to be matched.
Configuration management method and apparatus, and device
The present disclosure disclose a configuration management method and apparatus, and a device. A control device determines that an application message needs to be published to a target logical group. The control device obtains an identifier of the target logical group and queries, according to a gateway mapping table and the identifier of the target logical group, a gateway connected to each of the at least one target terminal, to obtain at least one target gateway. The control device generates based on the application message, a MQTT publish packet and sends the MQTT publish packet to the at least one target gateway, where the MQTT publish packet is used to instruct a target gateway that receives the MQTT publish packet to send a corresponding application message to each target terminal that is connected to the target gateway and that belongs to the target logical group.
Management of Update Queues for Network Controller
Some embodiments provide a method for a network controller that manages multiple managed forwarding elements (MFEs) that implement multiple logical networks. The method stores (i) a first data structure including an entry for each logical entity in a desired state of the multiple logical networks and (ii) a second data structure including an entry for each logical entity referred to by an update for at least one MFE. Upon receiving updates specifying modifications to the logical entities, the method adds separate updates to separate queues for the MFEs that require the update. The separate updates reference the logical entity entries in the second data structure. When the second data structure reaches a threshold size in comparison to the first data structure, the method compacts the updates in at least one of the queues so that each queue has no more than one update referencing a particular logical entity entry.
