COLLABORATIVE SCHEDULING OF LAST HOP CELLULAR TRAFFIC
An eNodeB or other cell access point device can receive demand data from mobile devices served by the cell. The demand data can represent an estimate of demand over a future period for network resources (e.g., bandwidth). The cell can aggregate this demand data and determine aggregation data for the time period or for various intervals of the time period, then transmit the aggregation data to the mobile devices. The aggregation data can operate as a collaborative approach to scheduling traffic. For example, data (e.g., delay tolerant data) can be shifted (e.g., delayed for a few seconds) based on an examination of the aggregation data in conjunction a determined priority of the data. Such can be applicable to data traffic not traditionally thought of as delay tolerant such as streaming video or web browsing, and can be accomplished without negatively impacting the quality of service or experience of the client.
Real-time usage detection of software applications
A system and method that allows for information relating to data and communication resource usage to be gathered and analyzed such that particular data transactions and usage of network accessible software applications can be classified based on purpose and/or type. Further, the system and method provide reporting based on amount of usage and/or purpose or type of usage so that associated costs and usage can be calculated applied and allocated to particular accounts, divisions, groups or individuals within and outside of a company or entity. Further, the system may disable features of or access to network accessible software applications based on lack or use, limited use or other metrics that fall outside of threshold ranges or values.
Data processing systems for fulfilling data subject access requests and related methods
Responding to a data subject access request includes receiving the request and identifying the requestor and source. In response to identifying the requestor and source, a computer processor determines whether the data subject access request is subject to fulfillment constraints, including whether the requestor or source is malicious. If so, then the computer processor denies the request or requests a processing fee prior to fulfillment. If not, then the computer processor fulfills the request.
Cloud Data Center for Providing Flexible Instance and Scheduling Method for Flexible Instance
A cloud data center includes a resource management system and a computing resource pool. The resource management system monitors a running parameter of a flexible instance running in the computing resource pool, and indicates the computing resource pool to adjust a size of the flexible instance. The computing resource pool runs the flexible instance, collects the running parameter of the flexible instance, and adjusts, based on the indication, the size of the flexible instance.
System, method, utility, and governance for distributed data routing over the Internet
A method is disclosed for distributed routing data with latencies using relay nodes. The method includes automatically measuring one-way latencies between a plurality of nodes comprising a first node, a second node, and a relay node, producing a first signal associated with a proof of uptime for the relay node, producing a second signal associated with a proof of bandwidth for the relay node, after the proof of uptime and the proof of bandwidth of the relay node are validated, automatically identifying a relayed data routing path from the first node to the second node via the relay node based on the one-way latencies between the plurality of nodes, in response to a command to transfer data from the first node to the second node, and transferring data from the first node to the second node along the relayed data routing path.
METHOD AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR CALCULATING BILLING AMOUNT IN RELATION TO DATA VOLUME REDUCTION FUNCTION
A logical volume (VOL) is provided from a storage system to a host system of a service user. A data volume reduction process is applied to data stored in the VOL. A management system determines whether at least one of a provided total capacity (provided to the service users) and a user used total volume (prior to the data volume reduction process) exceeds a storage volume capacity (upper limit of capacity of a storage space for the service provider). If so, a billing amount is calculated based on at least one amount among a first excess capacity (the difference between the user used total volume and the storage volume), a second excess capacity (the difference between the provided total capacity and the storage volume), and an amount corresponding to the service user defined as relating to at least one of the first excess capacity and the second excess capacity.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING APPLICATIONS WITH ACCESS TO NETWORK FUNCTIONALITY
An application marketplace system is able to provide applications to a device which cause the device's interaction with a network to change. The application marketplace system identifies a plurality of aspects of a network, each of which provide a type of network functionality for a device connected to the network. The application marketplace system receives user input indicating one or more aspects of the plurality of aspects of the network and user input indicating a device connected to the network. The application marketplace system generates an application for the device based on the user input and causes the application to be provided to the device. The generated application is able to change the device's interaction with the network.
Resolving unsatisfactory QoE for an application for 5G networks or hybrid 5G networks
A system and method for resolving an unsatisfactory quality of experience (QoE) for an application executed on a wireless device that accesses a CSP network is described. A QoE network appliance generates an integrated event stream that includes a RAN data set, a CN data set, a NWDAF data set, a QoE latency measurement, a QoE bandwidth measurement, and a QoE packet loss rate measurement. A measured QoE score is generated with the RAN data set, the CN data set, and the NWDAF data set. The measured QoE score is associated with a QoE latency measurement, a QoE bandwidth measurement, and a QoE packet loss rate measurement. A robotics process automation (RPA) module receives the integrated event stream when the measured QoE score fails to satisfy the QoE requirement. The RPA module performs one or more automated actions to improve the measured QoE based on information from the integrated event stream.
Method and system for content selection, delivery and payment
Aspects of a method and system for content selection, delivery and payment may comprise a management entity that coordinates operation of one or more endpoint devices. The one or more endpoint devices may be operable to select one or more parameters associated with a particular content type from the management entity. The particular content type may specify a type of media content that is handled by the one or more endpoint devices. The one or more endpoint devices may be operable to receive configuration information from the management entity based on the selected one or more parameters associated with the particular content type. The one or more endpoint devices may be configured utilizing the received configuration information. The one or more endpoint devices may be operable to pay for the received configuration information.
Method and apparatus for monetizing a carrier network
Methods and apparatus for monetizing a carrier network are provided. In an example, a wavelength service is captured from deployed network assets in a carrier network. A revenue factor (R), a capital expenditure factor (C), an operational expenditure factor (O), and a service level agreement factor (S) are selected from an analytic profile of the carrier network based on the wavelength service requirements. The R, C, O, and S factors are hexadecimal numbers, and can be weighted relative to each other. An index is calculated by concatenating the R, C, O, and S factors a prioritized order and converting the resultant hexadecimal number into a decimal number. The calculated index is assigned to the wavelength service. The index can be displayed, along with indices for other wavelengths on other paths, to a user in a graphical form.
