The embodiment of the present document can achieve service object-based network quality evaluation, can evaluate a service to display the health status of a network thereof, and meanwhile can also adopt a high-efficiency processing mechanism of multi-level combining and sending an evaluation execution command and of splitting the data obtained from the EMS, thereby better supporting the network quality evaluation and optimization.

Incident review interface

A computing machine performs a correlation search against KPI data for one or more services using a selection criteria and a triggering condition. When the triggering condition is satisfied a notable event or incident is created and information about the notable event is presented using a graphical user interface (GUI) that may have interactive elements.

Analytics in video/audio content distribution networks

A method may comprise collecting data from a core network, an operator network and a customer premise network. KPI values corresponding to one or more KPIs may be determined, based on the collected data. KQI values corresponding to one or more KQIs may be determined, based on the one or more of the determined KPI values. The determined KQI values may be output to an operator. In an embodiment, data collected from the core network may include data collected from one or more analyzer devices and head end probes. Data collected from a customer premise network may include data collected from last mile equipment or customer premise probes.

APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE (API) TO PROVIDE NETWORK METRICS AND NETWORK RESOURCE CONTROL TO USERS

Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing network application programming interface (“API”), and, more particularly, API to provide network metrics and network resource control to users. In some embodiments, a computing system might receive customer network telemetry data from a first network via a gateway API, might receive service provider network telemetry data from a second network(s) via a network API, might compile the customer network telemetry data and the service provider network telemetry data, might receive a request from a user to access information regarding network services associated with the user, might filter the compiled customer network telemetry data and the compiled service provider network telemetry data to isolate first telemetry data and second telemetry data, respectively, might provide the user with access to at least one of the first telemetry data or the second telemetry data, and might provide the user with options to control network resources.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CLOUD MIGRATION READINESS

A method comprising discovering workload attributes and identify dependencies, receiving utilization performance measurements including memory utilization measurements of at least a subset of workloads, grouping workloads based on the workload attributes, the dependencies, and the utilization performance measurements into affinity groups, determining at least one representative synthetic workload for each affinity group, each representative synthetic workload including a time slice of a predetermined period of time when there are maximum performance values for any number of utilization performance measurements among virtual machines of that particular affinity group, determining at least one cloud service provider (CSP)'s cloud services based on performance of the representative synthetic workloads, and generating a report for at least one of the representative synthetic workloads, the report identifying the at least one of the representative synthetic workloads and the at least one CSP's cloud services including cloud workload cost.

System and method for low latency edge computing

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system receives data at an edge node of a network that also includes regional nodes and central nodes. The processing system also determines a latency criterion associated with an application for processing the data; the application corresponds to an application programming interface. The method also includes processing the data in accordance with the application, monitoring a latency associated with the processing, and determining whether the latency meets the latency criterion. The processing system dynamically assigns data processing resources so that the latency meets the latency criterion; the resources include computation, network and storage resources of the edge node, a central node, and a regional node in communication with the edge node and the central node. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Intelligent selection of vantage points for monitoring subservices based on potential impact to services

A method includes configuring services as respective collections of subservices on network devices of a network, and decomposing definitions of the services into subservice dependency graphs each indicating the subservices and dependencies between the subservices that collectively implement a respective one of the services. The method further includes traversing the subservice dependency graphs to identify, at one or more intersections of the subservice dependency graphs, one or more shared subservices among the subservices of the services, wherein the one or more shared subservices are shared by the services. The method also includes monitoring subservice health states of the one or more shared subservices, and determining health states of the services based on the subservice health states of the one or more shared subservices.

An embodiment includes a method of secured, remote device access through dynamic scope adjustment in an incident management system. The method includes receiving an incident report indicative of a technical issue at a first device. Responsive to receipt of the incident report, the method includes determining that the first device is assigned an information technology (IT) support provider and dynamically elevating the first device to a scope of the IT support provider. Following a correction of at least a portion of the technical issue by the IT support provider, the method includes dynamically relegating the first device from the scope to prevent remote access to the first device following the correction.

Monitoring I.T. service-level performance using a machine data key performance indicator (KPI) correlation search

A service monitoring system executing on one or more processors may have operations that are determined by control information. Control over the operation of the service monitoring system can be exerted through the use of a graphical interface. The graphical interface may present the control information of a new or existing correlation search definition for user interaction. The service monitoring system may maintain a data store of key performance indicator (KPI) data, where a KPI value in the data store is produced by a KPI-defining search query that derives the value from machine data associated with one or more entities that perform a monitored service. A correlation search definition of the service monitoring system determines how a search of the KPI data is conducted, how its data is evaluated to determine whether a triggering condition has been met, and, if so, determines what triggered action is to be initiated.
