The data center monitoring and management operation includes: selecting a service subscription to manage; monitoring asset resource utilization of the subscription service; generating an adaptive service subscription schedule recommendation; and, managing the service subscription based upon the adaptive service schedule recommendation.

Described are examples for providing service level monitoring for a network hosting applications as a cloud service. A service level monitoring device may receive end-to-end measurements of service usage collected at user devices for a plurality of applications hosted as a cloud services. The service level monitoring device may determine degraded applications of the plurality of applications based on anomalies in the measurements. The service level monitoring device may determine a service level metric based on an aggregation of the degraded applications. In some examples, the service level monitoring device may detect a network outage affecting the service.

In one aspect, a computerized method includes the step of providing process monitor in a Gateway. The method includes the step of, with the process monitor, launching a Gateway Daemon (GWD). The GWD runs a GWD process that implements a Network Address Translation (NAT) process. The NAT process includes receiving a set of data packets from one or more Edge devices and forwarding the set of data packets to a public Internet. The method includes the step of receiving another set of data packets from the public Internet and forwarding the other set of data packets to the one or more Edge devices. The method includes the step of launching a Network Address Translation daemon (NATD). The method includes the step of detecting that the GWD process is interrupted; moving the NAT process to the NATD.

The presently disclosed subject matter aims to a system and method directed to provide a remote session user experience analysis. The system and method includes Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) server comprising a processing circuitry configured to: obtain connection information from a Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client, remote from the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) server, associated with a connection between the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client and a networking device directly communicating with the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client; and, generate, based on the connection information, a user experience score indicative of the quality of the connection during the remote session.

A method of assessing a risk level of an enterprise using cloud-based services from one or more cloud service providers includes assessing provider risk scores associated with the one or more cloud service providers; assessing cloud service usage behavior and pattern of the enterprise; and generating a risk score for the enterprise based on the provider risk scores and on the cloud service usage behavior and pattern of the enterprise. The risk score is indicative of the risk of the enterprise relating to the use of the cloud-based services from the one or more cloud service providers.

A method of abstracting network resources in a mobile communications network includes: determining a service coverage area for a class of service, the class of service defined by service parameters; determining a set of tracking areas that fall at least partly within the service coverage area; selecting available network resources for tracking areas of the set of tracking areas, for providing the class of service in the tracking areas; defining an abstraction view of the selected network resources for the class of service in the service coverage area, the abstraction view having deliverable values of the service parameters within the set of tracking areas; and outputting a communication signal having an indication of the abstraction view.

A method of determining an end-to-end, E2E, service level for a communications network (100) by a network management entity (101). The communications network (100) comprises one or more network domain. The method comprises obtaining (201) a first set of service level data for the one or more network domain. The first set of service level data for said one or more network domain comprises a summarized set of data derived from service level data monitored by said one or more network domain. The method further comprises determining (202) the end-to-end service level based on the obtained first set of service level data from the one or more network domain.

This application discloses a service level configuration methods and apparatuses, and belongs to the field of communications network technologies. According to an example method, a target service level used by a first forwarding node to forward a data flow is directly determined based on a transmission parameter of the data flow and service level information of the first forwarding node, and service level configuration is performed on the first forwarding node. Because a transmission parameter of the target service level of the first forwarding node and the transmission parameter of the data flow meet a first target condition, if the first target condition is a delay requirement required by a special service and the first forwarding node transmits the data flow by using the target service level, transmission of the data flow may meet the delay requirement required by the special service.
