Discovery of Which NEF or AF is Serving a UE
There is provided mechanisms for discovering, for data collection, which NEF or AF is serving a UE. A method is performed by an NWDAF entity. The method comprises providing, to a 5GC network function entity, a query of which NEF or AF is serving the UE. The method comprises receiving, from the 5GC network function entity, a response comprising an ID of the NEF or the AF when there is a NEF or AF instance stored in the 5GC network function entity for the UE.
Method, apparatus and device for generating microservice, and storage medium
The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, apparatus and device for generating a microservice, and a storage medium. The method includes: determining a service set of a microservice according to a first user requirement; determining a deployment mode of devices controlled by the microservice; determining parameter information of the microservice according to a second user requirement; and generating the microservice according to the service set, the deployment mode and the running parameters.
Network asset lifecycle management
Systems and methods for network asset lifecycle management are described. Network assets may include ephemeral Internet-accessible assets such as IP addresses, domain names, digital certificates, and cloud infrastructure accounts. A set of addresses associated with a computer network such as the Internet are scanned. Response data is received from one or more network systems connected to the computer network and processed to identify one or more network assets associated with an entity such as an enterprise organization. Asset data indicative of the identified network assets are then stored to build a record of the network assets associated with the entity.
Intelligent export and import of service representations
A computational instance may includes a set of computing devices and a configuration management database (CMDB), wherein the CMDB contains a representation of a service deployed on a managed network, wherein the representation of the service includes metadata, service group membership, and an entry point, and wherein the computational instance is configured to: receive an instruction to export the representation of the service to a file; copy, to a metadata object in the file, the metadata; determine a hierarchical subset of the service groups that are related to the service; write, to one or more service group objects in the file, the hierarchical subset of the service groups; determine, from a list of entry points of the managed network, that the entry point is of the service; and write, to an entry point object in the file, the entry point.
Smart dynamic restore for Kubernetes based applications
One example method includes discovering an application topology, discovering relationships between microservices that are elements of the application topology, ranking the microservices, identifying one or more of the microservices as a persistency microservice, selecting one or more persistency microservices for backup, and defining a backup policy based on the microservice relationships, the microservice rankings, and the selected persistent microservices. A backup operation is then performed that includes backing up persistent data and/or persistent metadata generated and/or modified by one or more of the persistency microservices.
ASSIGN MANAGEMENT RELATED ENTITIES TO GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS
Method comprising receiving a request to start collection of management data for a geographical area; for each of one or more radio cells: checking whether the respective radio cell fulfills at least one of one or more criteria; determining one or more network functions serving the respective radio cell if the respective radio cell fulfills the at least one of the one or more criteria; triggering the determined one or more network functions to start collection of the management data for the respective radio cell; wherein each of the one or more criteria is only fulfilled if the respective radio cell is related to the geographical area.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIA FOR PROVIDING PRIORITY RESOLVER FOR RESOLVING PRIORITIES AMONG NETWORK FUNCTION (NF) INSTANCES
A method for resolving priorities among network function (NF) instances includes, at a priority resolver implemented using at least one processor, providing a priority resolution application programming interface (API) that allows NF instances to request priority resolution. The method further includes receiving, via the API and from a plurality of NF instances, requests for priority resolution. The method further includes using a priority resolution algorithm to determine a relative priority for each of the NF instances. The method further includes generating and transmitting to each of the NF instances a priority resolution response including the relative priority determined for the NF instance.
SCOPE PARAMETER FOR BINDING INDICATION
A method comprising: generating an indication comprising a scope parameter and at least one of: a network function service instance identifier, a network function service set identifier, a network function instance identifier, a network function set identifier, and a service name, wherein the scope parameter is configured to indicate at least one scenario to which an associated binding relates; and sending (404) the indication from a network function service consumer to a network function service producer.
DEPLOYMENT OF COMPUTER SYSTEM SERVICES
Provided is a method for performing an action based on a predictive outcome of an intended service deployment. The method includes receiving information pertaining to an intended service deployment. The method further includes receiving data pertaining to the intended service deployment based on the received information. The method further includes determining a predictive outcome of the intended service deployment based on the received data. The method further includes performing an action based on the predictive outcome.
Discovery of virtualization environments
A discovery application on a computing system is provided. The discovery application receives a user input, which is for discovery of resources associated with a cloud operating system of a cloud computing system. The user input includes an authentication credential and account information associated with the cloud operating system. Based on the received input, the discovery application executes a discovery pattern comprising operations for the discovery of resources. The cloud operating system includes a group of services to access such resources. At least one of the operations corresponds to an API call to an API endpoint associated with a service of the group of services. The discovery application receives a response to the API call from the cloud operating system. The response includes a payload of information associated with the resources. The discovery application updates, based on the received response, one or more configuration items in a configuration management database.
