Harness
The harness includes a belt, a pair of thigh loops and first and second lateral attachment points. At least the first lateral attachment point includes a connector fixed to the belt. The connector is provided with a body defining: at least one pass-through opening inside which an attachment element to the belt passes, a connection ring distinct from the at least one pass-through opening, the connection ring being closed by means of a closing element fitted in removable manner. The closing element and the body define at least one through hole distinct from the at least one pass-through opening and from the connection ring. The closing element separate the connection ring and the at least one through hole.
Integrated body armor harness system
Implementations described and claimed herein provide an integrated body armor harness system. In one implementation, a front panel extends between a proximal end and a distal end. A shackle harness is integrated with the front panel, and the shackle harness has at least one shackle strap extending from the front panel and having a shackle loop adapted to receive a shackle for releasably engaging a sling. A leg harness extends from the distal end of the front panel. The leg harness includes a set of leg straps forming a first leg loop and a second leg loop. A back panel is disposed opposite the front panel, with the front panel and the back panel forming a tactical vest. A torso harness is integrated with the back panel, and the torso harness includes a set of shoulder straps.
Safety harness with a locking part for positively immobilising fastening buckles of a strap closure and adjustment system
A safety harness comprises at least one strap, at least one attachment member for connecting the safety harness and a system for closing and adjusting the strap provided with a stationary fastening buckle secured to a first strand of the strap and a movable fastening buckle secured in such a way as to be adjustable along a second strand of the strap. The movable fastening buckle can cooperate with the stationary fastening buckle in an interlocking configuration in which the strap is closed on itself so as to form a closed loop having a perimeter that can be adjusted by adjusting the position occupied by the movable fastening buckle along the second stand. The safety harness comprises a locking part separate from the stationary and movable fastening buckles, secured to the first strand or the second strand of the strap and capable of varying between an active state urging the two, stationary and movable, fastening buckles relative to each other so as to positively immobilise the stationary and movable fastening buckles in the interlocking configuration, and an inactive state in which the two, stationary and movable, fastening buckles can freely adopt and come out of the interlocking configuration.
DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING AND CLAMPING A STRAP
The device for adjusting and clamping a strap comprises superposed first and second rings to define a slot for the strap to pass through. The second ring presses on the first ring. The slot for the strap to pass through is bounded by an outer edge of the second ring and an inner edge) of the first ring. The two rings are movable with respect to one another so that the slot for the strap to pass through is of variable thickness. A bottom surface of the first ring opposite the top surface of the first ring has a textured area provided with several salient elements designed to form an increased friction area between the strap and the bottom surface of the first ring. The textured area is separated from the outer edge of the second ring by the slot for the strap to pass through.
HARNESS FOR ATTACHMENT TO A PERSON TO BE SECURED HAVING A BELAY LOOP
The subject matter of the invention is a harness for attachment to a person to be secured, in particular a climbing harness or personal protective equipment, having a hip belt, a leg belt, and a belay loop, wherein the hip belt and/or the leg belt each have an eyelet on both sides, the belay loop has at each of its end areas a rectangular buckle and a triglide, and the belay loop is guided at its respective end areas through the respective triglide, the respective end of the belay loop is guided through the respective rectangular buckle, and is connected to the respective end area of the belay loop, so that the respective triglide and rectangular buckle are arranged spaced apart from one another, and by guiding the respective triglide initially through the respective eyelet and subsequently through the respective rectangular buckle, the respective end area of the belay loop is fixable at the respective eyelet.
ASSIST DEVICE
An assist device includes a first harness, a second harness, a belt body and an actuator. The first harness is configured to be fitted to at least one of a shoulder region and a breast region of a user. The second harness is configured to be fitted to left and right leg regions, respectively, or a waist region, of the user. The belt body provided so as to extend to the first harness and to the second harness along a back side of the user. The actuator is provided in the first harness or the second harness and configured to wind and unwind a part of the belt body.
Load-balancing hub and connector with redistributable forces applied to a connection, and related methods
Disclosed is an improved load-balancing strap hub and connector for a bag or pack.
Safety Harness Assembly
A safety harness assembly includes an upper cradle and a lower cradle. Each of the upper and lower cradles has a front side, a rear side, a top edge, a bottom edge, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. The upper cradle is positioned above the lower cradle such that the bottom edge of the upper cradle is positioned adjacent to the top edge of the lower cradle. The upper cradle is positionable against a lower back of a person and the lower cradle is positionable against upper legs of a person. A plurality of bridge connectors is attached to the upper and lower cradles and engage a bridge rope. An adjustment member is attached to and extends between the upper and lower cradles. The adjustment member has an adjustable length to selectively alter a distance between the upper and lower cradles.
SAFETY HARNESS BRIDGE ROPE ENGAGEMENT SYSTEM
A safety harness bridge rope engagement system includes a harness and a pair of bridge connectors attached to the harness. The bridge connectors are configured to engage a bridge rope. Each of the bridge connectors has a plurality of channels therein. One of the channels is selected to receive a bridge rope to retain the bridge rope at the selected location to adjust the point of pressure between the harness and user of the harness.
RATCHETING STRAP ADJUSTER
A ratcheting strap adjuster comprising a bracket, a webbing plate, and one or more captive members. The webbing plate is rotatably coupled to the bracket. Each of the one or more captive members is moveable between an engaged position and a disengaged position, wherein the one or more captive members restrict rotation of the webbing plate in one direction when the one or more captive members are in the engaged position and allow rotation of the webbing plate in the one direction and in an opposite second direction when the one or more captive members are in the disengaged position.
