SYSTEM AND METHOD ASSOCIATED WITH CALIBRATED INFORMATION SHARING USING WAVE DYNAMIC COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL IN AN EPHEMERAL CONTENT-BASED PLATFORM
An ephemeral content distribution system associated with exchanging calibrated communications using a wave dynamic communication protocol based at least on a current wave-state of a user is disclosed. The system transmits a wave-based request for wave dynamic communications associated with a first user. The system processes wave-geographic information associated with a bounded geographical region based on a wave-state of a second user that received the wave-based request. The system processes wave-identity information associated with the wave-state of the second user. The system next receives a response of the second user to the wave-based request in accordance with the wave-state of the second user. The system further facilitates an exchange of the calibrated communications between the first and the second user based on the wave-identity of the second user using the wave dynamic communication protocol associated with discrete epochs of the calibrated communications in the ephemeral content distribution system.
Corresponding methods and a computer-readable device are also disclosed.
SPATIAL CHAT VIEW
Methods and systems provide for a spatial chat view within a messaging platform. First, the system displays, for a number of participants within a messaging session, a user interface consisting of: a virtual background; one or more spatialized avatars representing the participants overlaid on the virtual background; and a message composing component. The system displays, adjacent to each of a subset of the spatialized avatars, one or more chat bubbles corresponding to messages sent by one or more of the participants represented by the subset of the spatialized avatars. Concurrently or subsequently, the system determines an availability status for each of the plurality of participants, and then displays, within or adjacent to each of the spatialized avatars, a visual indicator of the availability status of the participant represented by the spatialized avatar.
SPATIAL LOCATION AND GROUPING OF CHAT PARTICIPANTS
Methods and systems provide spatialized locations and groupings of chat participants within a messaging platform. First, the system displays, for each of a number of participants within a messaging session, a spatial chat user interface consisting of a virtual background and one or more spatialized avatars, each being a representation of one of the participants overlaid on the virtual background, positioned in a spatialized location of the virtual background according to one or more location criteria, and one or more of the spatialized avatars positioned in a grouping according to one or more grouping criteria, where grouped spatialized avatars are positioned closer together than ungrouped spatialized avatars.
Intelligent status and engagement system
A computing device, method, and computer-readable medium storing instructions for determining user availability for one or more messaging applications are provided. For example, the computing device includes a processor for receiving user activity information from a client device including system interaction information and scheduled activity information for a user of the client device. The system interaction information includes information related to the user's current interaction with applications in the distributed workspace and the scheduled activity information includes information pulled from, for example, a calendar and/or scheduling application associated with the user. The processor processes the user activity information to determine a current user status for the user and output the current user status for the user of the client device to additional users of the one or more messaging applications. Based upon the current user status, messages from additional users of the messaging applications are filtered appropriately.

Providing group messaging thread highlights
The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for identifying and providing highlight messages from a group messaging thread. For example, systems and methods described herein detect when a group messaging thread participant becomes absent from the group messaging thread, and identifies one or more highlight messages that were submitted to the group messaging thread while the participant was absent. Systems and methods described herein identify highlight messages that are specific to the absent participant, such that when the participant again accesses the group messaging thread, the participant can review the identified highlight messages in order to quickly “catch up” on the group messaging thread without having to read each electronic message submitted to the group messaging thread during the participant's absence.

Incoming communication filtering system
One embodiment provides an apparatus. The apparatus includes a user profile; and a content filter logic. The content filter logic is to determine whether a content of a received message directed to a target recipient is compatible with the user profile and a current emotional state of the target recipient and to select at least one action based, at least in part, on one or more of the content, the user profile and/or the current emotional state of the target recipient. The at least one action is selected from the group comprising place the received message on hold, provide the received message to the target recipient, modify the received message, delete the received message, store the received message to an original message log, provide an alert to the target recipient, forward the message to another recipient and/or ascertain, from a sender, an urgency of the received message.

Messaging system with augmented reality messages
A method of generating an augmented reality lens comprises: causing to display a list of lens categories on a display screen of a client device; receiving a user choice from the displayed list; causing to prepopulate a lens features display on the display device based on the user choice, wherein each lens feature comprises image transformation data configured to modify or overlay video or image data; receiving a user selection of a lens feature from the prepopulated lens display; receiving a trigger selection that activates the lens feature to complete the lens; and saving the completed lens to a memory of a computer device.
