Senders' password protected messages may be transmitted and access to those messages available after a password is received. Senders' required-reading messages may also or alternatively be transmitted and recipients' device interaction restricted until indication is received that they are read.

Systems and methods are provided for generating personalized messages. One example method includes identifying a media item at a first computing device and identifying a group of one or more recipients to send the media item and a personalized message to. An association between a user of the computing device and a recipient from the group is identified. A personalized message is generated based at least in part on the association between the user and the recipient. The media item and personalized message are sent to the recipient from the first computing device.

A method is provided that includes receiving, by a first process executing on an electronic device and from a second process executing on the electronic device, a request for links to content items that are associated with the second process. The method further includes obtaining, by the first process and from a link index, a link to a content item associated with the second process, wherein the link index is locally stored on the electronic device and the link index comprises links to content items communicated via a third process executing on the electronic device. Embodiments include computer-implemented methods and systems for detecting undesirable and potentially harmful online behavior. The embodiments described and claimed could also be applied to detecting any other type of online behavior to be detected, but the descriptions focuses on detecting online violence. More particularly, the embodiments disclosed relate to detecting online violence using symbolic methods of natural language processing (NLP) that utilize and govern the usage of: 1) syntactic parser for analyzing grammatical context of the input text data, 2) unsupervised learning methods for improving selected aspects of the system and adjusting the system to new data sources and guidelines, and 3) statistical classifiers for resolving specific well-defined sub-tasks, in which statistical approaches surpass the symbolic methods.

The messaging platform may receive, from another device associated with the organization, a request to communicate with the user device and may convert the request into an RCS message. The messaging platform may send, via a server device, the RCS message to the user device to allow the user device to perform one or more actions.
