A system includes a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for generating collections of media content. The program and method provide for selecting a plurality of narrative group criteria for a media content collection, the plurality of narrative group criteria being stored in a database; for each narrative group criterion in the plurality, selecting a respective media content item associated with the narrative group criterion and with a user, based on a time the respective media content item was generated and a keyword, image, video or audio in the respective media content item, determining a title that corresponds to the narrative group criterion, and updating the media content collection to include the title and the respective media content item; and causing the media content collection to be displayed on a computing device of the user.

Method of generating customized avatars based on location information includes processor receiving from first client device location information including a location of the first client device. Processor causes a status interface to be displayed on first client device that includes selectable location items corresponding to locations based on the location information. Processor receives a selection from first client device of first selectable location item and causes avatar selection interface to be displayed on first client device that includes versions of first avatar performing actions related to the first selectable location item. Processor receives selection of first selectable version of the first avatar and generates a map interface that includes a map display based on the location information and the first selectable version of the first avatar. A method and apparatus for storing a computer location including the steps of initiating, by a user of a device, a capture sequence, wherein the device includes a processor and a display screen, obtaining, by the processor, visual data corresponding to an image displayed on the display screen at the time of the initiating step, obtaining, by the processor, location data corresponding to a computer location accessed by the device, and storing, by the processor, the visual data and the location data as associated data such that the visual data and the location data are associated with each other. A method and apparatus for sending the computer location further including the step of sending, by the first device, the associated data to a second device, wherein the second device includes a second processor and a second display screen.

A first user device, communicatively coupled to the hub, may be configured to facilitate a capture of the comments provided by the first user. A second user device, communicatively coupled to the hub, may be configured to facilitate a presentation of the comments to the second user. And, a second device geoID may be used to indicate a location of the second user device.

In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a user request from a client system associated with a user, generating a response to the user request which references one or more entities, generating a personalized recommendation based on the user request and the response, wherein the personalized recommendation references one or more of the entities of the response, and sending instructions for presenting the response and the personalized recommendation to the client system.

A system and method for providing location information on a social network, including: sending, to a social mapping system, a request for one or more social media posts, wherein the request includes screen attribute information about a display of a client device, geographic location information, and an identification of a requesting account of the social network; receiving, in response to the request, a suggested group for display by the client device; and displaying, by the client device, the suggested group.
