SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ELECTRONIC NOTIFICATIONS

Systems and methods of operating smart notifications are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, at a first time, a first request to transmit a first electronic message to a pilot account associated with an electronic device, and queuing the first electronic message without notification to the electronic device. The method also includes receiving, at a second time, a second request to transmit a second electronic message to the electronic device, and queuing the second electronic message without notification to the electronic device. The method further includes in response to identifying an end of the restricted period, transmitting, at a third time after the end of the restricted period, a third electronic message to the pilot account associated with electronic device, the third electronic message comprising an updated flight event in accordance with a first flight event and a second flight event.

Suppressing indications of events in user interfaces

In a system for outputting a notification including a processor and a computer-readable medium, the computer-readable medium includes instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to control the system to perform operating a plurality of software sets, each software set configured to individually cause the system to output a separate notification in response to an occurrence of an event commonly associated with the plurality of software sets; detecting that, in response to the occurrence of the commonly associated event, the plurality of software sets is set to cause the system to output a plurality of notifications, respectively, each notification being indicative of the occurrence of the event; and in response to detecting that that the plurality of software sets is set to cause the system to output the plurality of notifications, respectively, causing the system to output fewer than all of the plurality of notifications.

USER REQUEST RESPONSE METHOD AND APPARATUS, COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM, AND DEVICE

The present application relates to the technical field of computers, and provides a user request response method, a user request response apparatus, a computer-readable storage medium, and an electronic device. The user request response method comprises: upon the reception of a user request sent from a first-type terminal, sending reminder messages to a plurality of second-type terminals according to the user request; receiving message receipts for the reminder messages within a preset time period; selecting a target message receipt from among the message receipts according to a preset rule; and using the second-type terminal corresponding to the target message receipt as a target second-type terminal and determining to respond to the user request according to the target second-type terminal.

An example method for delivery of push notifications includes receiving a push notification including a message and a destination, creating a send token, sending a push notification derived from the received push notification and the send token, and receiving push information concerning a processing of the sent push notification which is identified by the send token. An example system for delivering push notifications includes a server system having a processor, memory, and a network interface, where the memory stores program instructions including code segments for receiving a received push notification via the network interface. In this example, the program instructions further includes code segments for creating a send token, code segments for sending a sent push notification derived from the received push notification and the send token via the network interface, and code segments for receiving received push information concerning a processing of the sent push notification are provided.

Systems and methods for modifying a notification received on a user device are disclosed. The method comprises receiving from at least one application on a user device a notification, identifying temporal information associated with the notification, detecting based on the temporal information a calendar-related event from a user profile, and modifying the temporal information associated with the notification to refer to the calendar-related event.

DETERMINING WHETHER AND/OR WHEN TO PROVIDE NOTIFICATIONS, BASED ON APPLICATION CONTENT, TO MITIGATE COMPUTATIONALLY WASTEFUL APPLICATION-LAUNCHING BEHAVIOR
20230229530 · 2023-07-20 ·

Implementations set forth herein relate to intervening notifications provided by an application for mitigating computationally wasteful application launching behavior that is exhibited by some users. A state of a module of a target application can be identified by emulating user inputs previously provided by the user to the target application. In this way, the state of the module can be determined without visibly launching the target application. When the state of the module is determined to satisfy criteria for providing a notification to the user, the application can render a notification for the user. The application can provide intervening notifications for a variety of different target applications in order to reduce a frequency at which the user launches and closes applications to check for variations in target application content.
