Multicast service processing method and access point
A multicast service processing method and an access point are disclosed. The method includes: generating, by an access point (AP), a first group addressed frame and an individually addressed frame based on a multicast packet, where the first group addressed frame is encrypted by a first multicast key, and the individually addressed frame is encrypted by a unicast key of a second terminal.
Shared and per-user bot group messaging method
Methods, apparatuses, and computing systems are provided for bot messaging. In an implementation, a method may include one or more of receiving, by a group messaging service coupled to the internet and a group including one or more user nodes, a message including a message address and a first group identifier, determining that the group includes a bot, the bot including a software application for performing one or more tasks over the internet. The method also includes determining whether the bot is a user bot responsive to one user node in the group or a group bot responsive to each of the one or more user nodes. In response to determining the bot is a group bot, the method also includes identifying that the message address corresponds to the group bot and sending, by the group messaging service, the message to the group bot.

ENGINES TO PRUNE OVERLAY NETWORK TRAFFIC
An example system in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure includes an inspection engine and a forwarding engine. The inspection engine is to identify whether a tunneled network packet is associated with the multicast group address and a VNI that is contained in the mapping table. The forwarding engine is to forward or discard the packet in response to whether the VNI is contained in the mapping table.
Dropping extraneous discovery messages
In aspects of dropping extraneous discovery messages, a device application can initiate a discovery message in a device, such as a multicast message initiated for network discovery or discovery of network services. The device implements a status module that can interpose the routing of the discovery message in the device, and determine whether a response to a previous discovery message was received. The status module can also determine a device state of the device, where the device state can indicate whether a discovery message response is necessary. The status module is implemented to drop the discovery message if the response to the previous discovery message was not received and based on the device state indicating that a discovery message response is extraneous.

Method of machine-to-machine communication
In one embodiment, the method includes encrypting, at a device, data with a first key, and forming a message that includes a device identifier and the encrypted data. The device identifier identifies the device. A signaling message is formed that includes a class identifier, the message and an action code. The class identifier identifies a group of devices to which one or more devices belong. The action code indicates the type of data, and may be part of the message. The signaling message is sent to a network, for example, a wireless network. The wireless network identifies and routes the message portion of the signaling message based on the class identifier. And, using the class identifier and perhaps a device identifier, the wireless network may signal the device to change an operating parameter.
Peer-to-peer syncable storage system
A system for creating a sync group in a distributed system may include an offline electronic device having a short range communication transmitter and a storage service, and a computer-readable storage medium comprising one or more programming instructions. The system may receive a request from an application to create a sync group, and verify that the application has read access to the storage service. In response to verifying that the application has read access to the storage service, the system may create the sync group by receiving an indication of one or more objects stored in the storage service that are to be shared, identifying one or more members of the sync group, and assigning one or more permissions to the one or more members that are identified. The system may synchronize access to the objects among the electronic device and one or more member electronic devices.
System performance logging of complex remote query processor query operations
Described are methods, systems and computer readable media for performance logging of complex query operations.
Method for the transmission of a frame by an access point of a wireless local area network
A wireless communication system has an access point managing a first wireless local area network. To transmit the frame, the access point: obtains data to be transmitted in multicast mode; obtains data to be transmitted in unicast mode; and constructs a physical-layer header including: in a common signalling field, an identification of each channel resource intended to be used for making the frame transmission, whether this be for the data to be transmitted in unicast mode or in multicast mode; and, in each field in a series of specific signalling fields, information representing an association between a channel resource identifier used and a unique identifier of the destination concerned or group of destinations concerned. Thus each destination can determine each channel resource to listen to in order to receive the data that are addressed to it, whether this be in unicast mode or in multicast mode.
