A method, apparatus, and system for distributing and vitalizing a NAT are described. The method includes: maintaining a mapping table associating first and second endpoint addresses of a device, the first and second endpoint addresses indicating the device for first and second routers, respectively; maintaining a routing table for routing between the first and second routers, the routing table associating the first and second routers with first and second location addresses, respectively; and forwarding the first and/or second endpoint addresses to a selected router, the selected router being one of the first router, the second router, or a router exchanging network traffic between the first and second routers, wherein the selected router translates network traffic indicating the first endpoint address to indicate the second endpoint address.

Deterministic forwarding across L2 and L3 networks

According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, a first tunnel router may receive a reservation request to establish a deterministic path between a first node and a second node. The first tunnel router may determine, based on the reservation request, a destination address of the second node. The first tunnel router may identify, based on the destination address of the second node, a second tunnel router associated with the second node. The first tunnel router may encapsulate a deterministic packet sent by the first towards the second node into a tunnel packet, wherein a multicast address in a header of the tunnel packet is set to the destination address of the second node. The first tunnel router can forward the tunnel packet along the deterministic path. The multicast address in the header of the tunnel packet causes nodes to send the tunnel packet according to the deterministic path.

Telecommunication system for automatically locating by network connection and selectively delivering calls to mobile client devices

A communication system for an organization having multiple sites uses a dual-mode device capable of both cell phone communication and telephone communication on a local area network (LAN). IP LANS are established at organization sites such that a temporary IP address is assigned to a dual-mode device that logs onto an organization LAN, and the IP address is associated at a PSTN-connected server on the LAN with the cell phone number of the communication device. The IP server notifies a PSTN-connected routing server when a device logs on to a LAN, and also provides a destination number for the IP server. Cell calls directed to the device are then redirected to the IP server and directed to the device connected to the LAN.

An example method includes detecting that a number of impressions a time segment of a video occurred based on messages; detecting that no impressions for the time segment of the video were detected by the database proprietor; determining respective percentages of exposures of the video that are attributable to corresponding ones of multiple demographic groups, determining the respective percentages being based on the first demographic information provided by the database proprietor for exposures of other time segments of the video; attributing respective portions of the number of impressions to the demographic groups based on the respective percentages to determine imputed numbers of impressions; generating adjusted numbers of impressions based on the imputed numbers of impressions; and determining ratings information for the video using the adjusted numbers of impressions.

A digital data communications network that supports efficient, scalable routing of data and use of network resources by combining a recursive division of the network into hierarchical sub-networks with repeating parameterized general purpose link communication protocols and an addressing methodology that reflects the physical structure of the underlying network hardware. The sub-division of the network enhances security by reducing the amount of the network visible to an attack and by insulating the network hardware itself from attack. The fixed bandwidth range at each sub-network level allows quality of service to be assured and controlled. The routing of data is aided by a topological addressing scheme that allows data packets to be forwarded towards their destination based on only local knowledge of the network structure, with automatic support for mobility and multicasting. The repeating structures in the network greatly simplify network management and reduce the effort to engineer new network capabilities.

The network management center provides to the edge node an Identifier Locator Addressing (ILA) address based on the IP address.
