PROTECTIVE SHOE COVER
A protective shoe cover includes a shoe-shaped main body that is constructed from two complementary shaped sides that form a toe section, a heel section, and an ankle section which define a hollow interior space. Each of the two sides are removably secured together along the back end of the main body via a fastener which extends between the heel section and the ankle opening. A bottom opening is positioned along the bottom end of the main body for receiving the outsole of an inserted shoe, and a plurality of ledges extend along the bottom opening to engage the outsole and secure the same within the protective cover.
Functional footwear unit
The invention relates to a functional footwear unit, in particular in the form of knit-of-parts, which has preferably a particularly modular protective function against chemical and/or biological toxic and/or harmful substances, especially warfare agents. The invention also relates to the uses thereof.
Waterproof and vapor-permeable shoe, particularly but not exclusively of the safety type or the like
A waterproof and vapor-permeable shoe, including: an upper assembly, which is composed of at least one upper and a waterproof and vapor-permeable functional layer internal thereto, a tread portion joined to the upper assembly below the upper assembly, at least one vapor permeation layer provided below the foot insertion space formed inside the shoe. At least one opening is provided lateral with respect to the shoe proximate to a region of connection of the upper assembly to the tread portion, the at least one opening being open toward a perimetric edge of the at least one vapor permeation layer. The shoe further includes, interposed between the perimetric edge and the at least one opening, selectively: at least one waterproof and vapor-permeable functional element, at least one functional portion of the functional layer.
SOFTBOOTS AND WATERPROOF/BREATHABLE MOISTURE TRANSFER COMPOSITE AND LINER FOR IN-LINE SKATES, ICE-SKATES, HOCKEY SKATES, SNOWBOARD BOOTS, ALPINE BOOTS, HIKING BOOTS AND THE LIKE
The soft boot and liner includes moisture transfer system that includes an inner fabric layer carefully selected from technically advanced fabrics. A series of layers are provided outside the inner liner including foam material layers, spacer fabrics and breathable membranes, in various orders. Encapsulation technology and waterproofing are used as well. The outer fabric layer is also capable of working with the other layers to promote the transfer of moisture. Frothed foams and flocking with fibers are further characteristics of the present invention. The moisture transfer system is incorporated into a soft boot or skate or as a removable liner for a shell boot. Numerous other modifications and applications are disclosed.
MOISTURE-PERMEABLE WATERPROOF SHOE HAVING UPPER OF CHANGEABLE APPEARANCE
A moisture-permeable waterproof shoe includes an upper unit and a shoe-shaped inner sleeve. The upper unit includes a top cut piece and a bottom cut piece. The top cut piece has a rear concave edge with two spaced-apart first ends, a peripheral edge with two spaced-apart second ends, and two rear mating edges each interconnecting one of the first ends and a respective second end. The peripheral edge of the top cut piece is sewn to a periphery of the bottom cut piece. The top and bottom cut pieces cooperate to define an interior space. The inner sleeve is disposed in the interior space. A connecting layer is fixed between an inner surface of the upper unit and an outer surface of the inner sleeve. A sole is fixed to a bottom portion of the upper unit.
MOISTURE-PERMEABLE WATERPROOF SHOE
A moisture-permeable waterproof shoe includes an upper unit, an inner sleeve unit, and an outsole unit. The upper unit defines an inner space having a top open end and a bottom closed end. The inner sleeve unit is fixedly disposed in the inner space, and includes a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve and a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) sheet. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe-like inner sleeve has an inner sleeve bottom surface and defines a wearing space having a top open end and a bottom closed end. The TPU sheet has a top surface fixedly connected to the inner sleeve bottom surface by a high-frequency welding method. The outsole unit is fixedly connected to an underside of the upper unit.
A METHOD OF FORMING AN ITEM OF FOOTWEAR
The present invention relates to a method of forming an item of footwear (100) and an item of footwear (100). In particular, the item of footwear (100) is a boot formed of vulcanised rubber such as a Wellington boot. A method of forming an item of footwear (100) comprising the steps of providing a sole member (2) formed of a first rubber material having a first compressive resistance, the sole member (2) comprising a cavity (4) in an upper surface (2A) of a heel region of the sole member (2); placing an insert (6) into the cavity (4), the insert (6) having a second compressive resistance lower than the first compressive resistance; and then vulcanising to thereby attach an upper part (8) formed of a second rubber material to the sole member (2) at a first temperature, wherein the insert (6) is formed of a material which is solid at the first temperature.

SAFE AND HYGIENIC SOLE
The present invention discloses a safer sole against slippage while worn wet, and one which is pleasant to wear, practical to use, and economical to manufacture. The invention discloses a footwear sole through an innovative means of allowing water to clear from a foot, and under a footwear. It is also the purpose of this invention to provide for an aerating sole via open through and through channels for improving foot hygiene while maintaining the safety of a foot from being poked or pricked if stepping on pointy objects.
Footwear sole, boot and sandal
Aspects of the invention can be directed to a boot including a sole portion, a lower portion, and a boot shaft portion. The sole portion, the lower portion and the boot shaft portion can be formed as a unitary member composed of a single compound. The wherein the single compound can include: EVA in the range of 17% to 27%, POE in the range of 6% to 16%, SEBS in the range of 10% to 20%, and rubber in the range of 19% to 29%.
