Method and device for group communication
A communication method between road users, which can each connect to a server via at least one communication interface. The following steps carried out by the server for establishing communication: establishing local and thematic information for determining communication participants; determining a group of communication participants based on local and thematic information, with a local area being defined for the local restriction of the communication participants and with at least one technological aspect and/or one interest-based aspect being taken as a basis for the thematic restriction on the part of the server; and granting permission for data communication by the road users based on the server prioritizing the data transmitted by the road users to the server once the group has been determined. The local and thematic information determined from the average of the spatial coordinates of the road users and respective average speed and average direction of the road users.

Information processing apparatus, information processing system, information processing method, and non-transitory recording medium
An information processing apparatus, an information processing system, an information processing method and a non-transitory recording medium. The information processing apparatus detects one or more users using the information processing apparatus and notifies each user of remote service connection destination information required for connecting to a remote service using notification destination information for sending notification to the user associated with each detected user.
USER EQUIPMENT-ASSISTED SECURE CALL TRANSFERS
Techniques described provide for transferring calls between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE. One implementation may include receiving a request to transfer a call, which has been established established between the first UE and a third party device, to be between a second UE and the third party device. Location information for the first and second UEs may be received. A determination may be made to determine whether the first and second UE are in proximity to each other. In the event that a determination is made that the first and second UE are in proximity to each other, the established call may be transferred from the first UE to the second UE. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
IMPLEMENTING PUSH-TO-TALK IN A MULTIMEDIA CONFERENCING SYSTEM
Systems and methods of providing push-to-talk communication techniques in a multimedia conferencing session are provided. For instance, a push-to-talk mode can be implemented in a conferencing session associated with a conferencing system comprising a plurality of endpoints. At least one of the endpoints can be a full duplex endpoint. A request for transmission capabilities can be received from a first endpoint. Transmission capabilities can be granted to the first endpoint based at least in part on one or more floor control parameters associated with the conferencing session. Subsequent to granting transmission capabilities to the first endpoint, audio data can be provided from the first endpoint to at least one endpoint of the plurality of endpoints in the conferencing session.

ENHANCEMENTS FOR REAL-TIME TEXT (RTT) CALL CONTROL OVER AN IP MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM (IMS) NETWORK
A first UE receives a first Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) INVITE message requesting the first UE to place the RTT call on hold, during an ongoing Real-Time Text (RTT) call with a second UE. In response to the first SIP INVITE message, the first UE sends a first SIP 200 OK message to the second UE, and the first SIP 200 OK message indicates that the first UE is not allowed to send and receive media data. After sending the first SIP 200 OK message, the first UE receives a second SIP INVITE message requesting the first UE to resume the RTT call. In response to the second SIP INVITE message, the first UE sends a third SIP INVITE message to the second UE, and the third SIP INVITE message indicates that the first UE is allowed to send and receive media data.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A communication apparatus and a wireless communication system are provided to perform information transmission between a first communication device group and a second communication device group via wireless communication performed by means of radio waves of mutually different frequencies without being limited by frequency allocation. The communication apparatus includes a first voice input means for inputting a voice emitted from a first communication device that is one constituent element of the first communication device group into a second communication device that is one constituent element of the second communication device group and a second voice input means for inputting another voice emitted from the second communication device that is one constituent element of the second communication device group into the first communication device that is one constituent element of the first communication device group.
RELAY DEVICE AND RELAY METHOD OF VOICE SIGNAL
[Problem] When a communication apparatus that is the communication partner is called via a relay device, the transmission control mode of a voice signal can be switched according to the capability of the communication partner.
[Solution] A relay device (2) includes a telephone relay unit (3), a network communication relay unit (4), and a wireless communication relay unit (5). The wireless communication relay unit (5) includes a plurality of external apparatus interfaces, and an analog repeater (25), a digital repeater (27), or the like is connected to each external apparatus interface. If an SIP telephone (20) has called an analog transceiver (27), the relay device (2) obtains the address and apparatus type of the analog transceiver (27) from call information, and transmits a voice signal to the analog transceiver (27) using a transmission control mode (VOX mode) that suits the analog transceiver (27).
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING AN APPROVER FOR REQUESTING PERMISSION TO JOIN A DYNAMICALLY-CREATED TALKGROUP
A method and apparatus for determining an individual's identity who has authority to add a user to a talkgroup (approver) is provided herein. During operation, a context of a user requesting access to a talkgroup is determined. Past contexts for individuals who have requested access to past talkgroups are determined along with past approvers who approved adding the individual to the talkgroup. The current context is used to find similar past contexts and the past approver for the similar past context. The past approver is then used to authorize the current request for approving joining of the talkgroup.
