FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM FOR BATTERY MODULES
Systems and methods for fire suppression, a fire suppression system including a container configured to receive frames, each of the frames including battery modules; a pipe system including at least one vertically extending pipe, the at least one vertically extending pipe configured to be provided between a respective two of the frames and configured to supply suppressant to at least one of the battery modules of each of the respective two of the frames via slots of the vertically extending pipe; at least one tank connected to the pipe system and configured to store the suppressant; at least one pump configured to recirculate the suppressant to the pipe system or a tank of the at least one tank; and an inlet body configured to connect with a suppressant source, that is external to the container, to provide new suppressant into the pipe system or the at least one tank.
Network enabled fire sensor and extinguishing system
The network enabled fire sensor and fire extinguishing system is a fire-fighting apparatus comprising a plurality of extinguisher modules. The plurality of extinguisher modules forms a wireless communication link between: a) the plurality of extinguisher modules, and, b) with an appropriate authority. When triggered by fire, the individual extinguisher module: c) releases a fire extinguishing chemical; and, d) transmits an alert message to both the appropriate authority and to the individual extinguisher modules remaining in the plurality of extinguisher modules containing the GPS coordinates of the transmitting individual extinguisher module. Each selected individual extinguisher module compares the GPS coordinates of the selected individual extinguisher mode to the GPS coordinates of the module alert message. If the span of the distance between the two coordinates is less than a previously determined span of distance, than the selected individual extinguisher module releases a fire retardant chemical.
Fire Suppression System for Stoves
A fire suppression system for stoves is shown and described. The fire suppression system for stoves includes a first pressurized tank filled with a fire suppression material. The first pressurized tank is fluidly connected to a first side of a piping system. A second pressurized tank filled with a fire suppression material. The second pressurized tank is fluidly connected to a second side of a piping system. The piping system has a plurality of nozzles pointing at burners of a stove. A first temperature gauge is connected to a first release device. The first release device will dispense the fire suppression material from the first pressurized tank. A second temperature gauge is connected to a second release device. The second release device will dispense the fire suppression material from the second pressurized tank.
Automatic fire extinguisher system having a safety assembly
A safety assembly provided with an automatic fire extinguisher system includes an engagement member, a blocking member, and an extension member. The engagement member is slidably received within an outlet port of a valve housing. A blocking member having a first blocking member portion and a second blocking member portion is at least partially received within a cavity defined by the valve housing. The extension member extends between the engagement member and the blocking member.

A safety assembly provided with an automatic fire extinguisher system includes an engagement member, a blocking member, and an extension member. The engagement member is slidably received within an outlet port of a valve housing. A blocking member having a first blocking member portion and a second blocking member portion is at least partially received within a cavity defined by the valve housing. The extension member extends between the engagement member and the blocking member.
STOVE TOP FIRE EXTINGUISHING DEVICE
An apparatus is disclosed for extinguishing a stovetop fire over a stovetop having a first burner, the apparatus including a container detachably mountable to a microwave positioned above the stove top. A supply of fire suppressant material is retained within the container. A heat responsive actuator is disposed on the container. When the container is mounted to the microwave over the first burner, and the fire actuates the heat responsive actuator, at least a portion of the supply of fire suppressant material falls from the container toward the first burner.
STOVE TOP FIRE EXTINGUISHING DEVICE
An apparatus is disclosed for extinguishing a stovetop fire over a stovetop having a first burner, the apparatus including a container detachably mountable to a microwave positioned above the stove top. A supply of fire suppressant material is retained within the container. A heat responsive actuator is disposed on the container. When the container is mounted to the microwave over the first burner, and the fire actuates the heat responsive actuator, at least a portion of the supply of fire suppressant material falls from the container toward the first burner.
Solenoid actuator with firing pin position detection
A solenoid actuator with firing pin position detection is provided. The solenoid actuator includes a solenoid assembly having movable armature. The solenoid assembly is mounted to a firing pin housing which houses a firing pin. The firing pin is arranged such that the movable armature acts upon the firing pin to transition it from an unfired position to a fired position. The solenoid actuator also includes a firing pin position switch is mounted within a bore that is transverse to a bore of the firing pin housing containing the firing pin. The firing pin includes cam surface that acts upon the firing pin position switch to ultimately provide an indication of whether the firing pin is in the fired or the unfired position.
CAPSULE TYPE FIRE EXTINGUISHER FOR PREVENTING BATTERY EXPLOSION AND BATTERY HAVING THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER
A capsule-type fire extinguisher for preventing a battery explosion, and a battery including the capsule-type fire extinguisher are disclosed. The capsule-type fire extinguisher includes an extinguishing capsule including an extinguishing material configured to extinguish a fire by being externally discharged as being expanded and exploded by external heat in an inside thereof, a fixing member configured to fix the extinguishing capsule to the battery, and a forced exhaust provided on one side of the extinguishing capsule and configured to destroy at least one of the extinguishing capsule or the battery.
Triggering device of an extinguishing system
Various aspects of the invention are directed to a triggering device for a quickly triggering extinguishing system for explosion suppression. In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the triggering device may include a pawl body having a pawl flank, a catch, at least one electromagnet to transmit an electromagnetic field, and a sliding pin. The sliding pin triggers an extinguishing system for explosion suppression by movement from a blocking position into a release position. In the blocking position, the sliding pin is pushed against the pawl flank of the pawl body by means of the catch and is held in the blocking position by said pawl flank. The pawl body releases the engagement of the catch and the pawl flank, and thereby releases the sliding pin, in response to the at least one electromagnet exerting the electromagnetic field on the pawl body.
