URLs for acquiring or transmitting data
A method, reception apparatus, and computer-readable medium for communicating with a server to download or upload data. The method includes acquiring a URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) message that includes a DNS (Domain Name System) name registered with the IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority). A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is generated based on the registered DNS name in the acquired URI message and a predetermined domain name. The data is downloaded from, or uploaded to, the server using the generated URL.
ANCHORING IP DEVICES IN ICN NETWORKS
A network access point (NAP) of a second type of network is configured to receive a first type of packet from a device configured to operate in only a first type of network. The NAP is configured to determine an appropriate namespace for the first type of packet based on an address of an intended destination of the first type of packet. The NAP is configured to encapsulate the first type of packet into a second type of packet for use in the second type of network. The NAP is configured to route the second type of packet to a plurality of devices subscribed to the namespace in the second type of network.
Dynamic security gateway selection
In aspects of the disclosure, a method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, the apparatus determines if a connection to a PLMN has been established. In another aspect, the apparatus builds a FQDN based on the determination by attempting to build the FQDN using each of the prioritized FQDNs in order of priority until the FQDN is built, building the FQDN using a PLMN ID of the PLMN if it is determined that the PLMN is found in the list, or building the FQDN based on the wildcard PLMN if it is determined that the list comprises the wildcard PLMN. Further still, the apparatus selects a network security gateway to provide network security and internet working control based on the FQDN.
Network monitoring and control system and method
A method of controlling the distribution of content in a network is described. The content traverses the network in packets comprising a packet header including an address associated with the content, and a packet payload including the content. The method includes obtaining the address associated with the content from the packet traversing the network and analysing the address to extract information associated with the content carried in the packet payload.
MAPPING DATABASE SYSTEM FOR USE WITH CONTENT CHUNKS AND METHODS OF ROUTING TO CONTENT IN AN IP NETWORK
A method of retrieving content in an Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) network is described, including receiving from a network node a lookup request associated with content at a server comprising a mapping database. A response is generated including an IPv6 address, the IPv6 address comprising a content identifier and an indication of a location of the content. The response is transmitted to the network node. A method including receiving at a mapping database a lookup request associated with content and returning a text record comprising an ordered list of addresses for use in segment routing to the content is also described.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING A COMMUNICATION TO A CLIENT
A method and system for connecting a communication to a client including at a system bridge, establishing a client subscription connection with a client device; receiving an incoming communication request at the system bridge; publishing an incoming communication notification from the system bridge to the client device; receiving a client communication at the system bridge; and merging the incoming communication request into the client communication at the system bridge.
ROUTING FOR LARGE SERVER DEPLOYMENTS
In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to a method comprising: receiving, at a client device, information from a node manager about a plurality of nodes in a computer cluster, the information comprising a network address associated each of the plurality of nodes and sending, by the client device, a request to a load balancer to access a first node from the plurality of nodes, the request comprising a first URL including an encoded representation of the network address associated with the first node. The load balancer is configured to determine the request should be routed to a first network address based on decoding the URL, the first network address associated with a first node from the plurality of nodes and forward the request to the first node in response to the determining.
Methods, systems, and computer readable media for diameter signaling message external identifier address resolution and routing
A method for Diameter signaling message external identifier address resolution and routing includes receiving a Diameter signaling message, decoding the Diameter signaling message and determining that an external identifier attribute value pair (AVP) is present in the Diameter signaling message. The method further includes decoding contents of the external identifier AVP, performing a lookup in a domain table using a domain identifier component of the external identifier AVP and locating an entry corresponding to the domain identifier component, determining whether a local identifier table is configured for the domain identifier component, performing a lookup in a local identifier table using a local identifier component of the external identifier AVP, populating at least one Diameter routing AVP of the Diameter signaling message with Diameter routing information obtained from the lookup in the domain table or the lookup in the local identifier table, and routing the Diameter signaling message using the Diameter routing information.
REGISTRATION OF MULTI-PORT DEVICE
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for registering a multi-port device. A computing device may receive a registration request from a user device supporting multiple ports. In response, the computing device may send to the user device a message including a plurality of telephone numbers and information of associated ports.
