This disclosure relates to, among other things, systems and methods for managing electronic content. Certain embodiments disclosed herein provide for a trusted data management platform that may interact with a trusted assertion service and/or a digital rights management service to manage access to and/or use of electronic content. Content creators and/or other content rights holder may register their content and/or associate rights using the trusted data management platform and/or a trusted assertion service and be assured that their content rights are securely managed and respected.

Blockchain digital rights management streaming library

A computer-implemented method includes: receiving, by a computer device, an artifact and a first token with a check-in request; applying, by the computer device, a first level fragile watermark to the artifact, wherein the first level fragile watermark includes ownership information from the first token; receiving, by the computer device, a second token with a check-out request; applying, by the computer device, a second level fragile watermark to a copy of the first level fragile watermarked artifact, wherein the second level fragile watermark includes authentication information from the second token; and transmitting, by the computer device, the second level fragile watermarked copy of the artifact to a client device.

Website Integrity and Date of Existence Verification
20230139312 · 2023-05-04 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed which use a block chain (“blockchain”) to enable the establishment of file dates and the absence of tampering, even for documents held in secrecy and those stored in uncontrolled environments, but which does not require trusting a timestamping authority or document archival service. In an exemplary operation, an internet browser retrieves a website document, hashes at least a portion of the website document to produce a first hash value, retrieves blockchain registration data for the website document; compares the first hash value with a second hash value found in a blockchain; and responsive to the first and second hash values matching, displays a verification indication. Some embodiments may be used as parental controls for internet browsers.

SECURE WEB RTC REAL TIME COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE FOR AUDIO AND VIDEO STREAMING COMMUNICATIONS
20230205850 · 2023-06-29 ·

Secure Real Time Communications Service (SRTCS) for audio and video streaming communications and content sharing that securely connects multiple users using a “push-button” WebRTC chat app connection over a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network. SRTCS uniquely combines advanced security technologies to provide user based permissions control when communicating and sharing rich media content with other users including End-to-End Encryption (E2EE), Hash Technology (DHT), and Digital Rights Protection (DRM). SRTCS has also designed a unique cloud based streamed video storage and sharing platform service for consumers and business video storage and sharing applications.

Method of transferring rights object and electronic device

A method of transferring a rights object (RO) and an electronic device are provided. The method includes generating a secure RO by encrypting an RO including usage rights information regarding digital content and transferring the secure RO from a first device to a second device.

SYSTEM AND EXCHANGE FOR MANAGING RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY
20230208646 · 2023-06-29 ·

A system and digital exchange for managing intangible personal rights includes at least a first and second object each including at least one object identifier, at least a first and second group of fractional cryptographic object data blocks each associated with the first and second objects, and a digital exchange. The fractional data blocks contain a value as well as a unique identifier and key associating the object data block with its respective object. Each data block is linked with a plurality of data blocks via cryptographic hashes. The digital exchange comprises a first user associated with at least one fractional object data block, a first table including at least one object and fractional object data blocks, and a second user. The first user authorizes the transfer of at least one fractional object data block to the second user and an exchange transaction is created to verify and authenticate the transfer.

Contents blockchain platform
11687624 · 2023-06-27 · ·

A platform and method for content management is disclosed. A content right management method includes receiving contents from a user, and generating a create key for a right for the contents by encrypting the contents using encryption information, in which the create key includes a copyright of the contents and a creation right of the contents.

Method of provisioning persistent household keys for in-home media content distribution
09847975 · 2017-12-19 · ·

A method of providing a household key to a client device, comprising receiving a key request including a subscriber identifier at an update server from a client device, and determining whether the subscriber identifier has previously been associated with a household encryption key. The household encryption key can be configured to be used by the client device to encrypt recordings of media content it makes and/or decrypt recordings of media content it previously made or that it receives from another client device that encrypted the recording using the household key. If the subscriber identifier has previously been associated with a household encryption key, the update server retrieves the household key and sends it to the client device. If the subscriber identifier has not previously been associated with a household encryption key, the update server retrieves a new household key from a pool, associates the new household key with the subscriber identifier, and sends it to the client device.

METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING CONTENT BASED ON OPEN LICENCE
20170357785 · 2017-12-14 · ·

A method, apparatus and system for protecting content based on an open license is disclosed. The method for protecting content based on an open license performed by a content protecting device may include receiving content from a user terminal; selecting an open license corresponding to the received content; analyzing a plurality of license authority items corresponding to the selected open license; storing license data including a value of the plurality of license authority items which is analyzed in a database with being linked with a unique identifier of the content; generating a Digital Rights Management (DRM) authority matched to the open license based on the value of the plurality of license authority items which is analyzed; and requesting to encrypt the content based on the generated DRM authority to a DRM server. Accordingly, the copyright of the content can be easily protected.

ESTABLISHING A TOKENIZED LICENSE OF A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT LEARNING OBJECT

A method includes a computing device of a computing infrastructure interpreting a request from a user computing device of the computing infrastructure to cause a license of a set of learning objects pertaining to a common topic for use by the user computing device to produce licensee information for the set of learning objects. The method further includes identifying a non-fungible token (NFT) associated with the set of learning objects and establishing, with the user computing device, agreed licensing terms utilizing the licensee information and based on available licensing terms of a smart contract for the set of learning objects. The method further includes generating a license smart contract for the set of learning objects to include the licensee information and the agreed licensing terms and causing generation of a license block affiliated with the NFT via a blockchain of the object distributed ledger.
