Controller doorbell circuit and methods of converting a standard doorbell circuit to a controller doorbell circuit
A controller doorbell circuit includes a first terminal of a button wired to a first terminal of a transformer, a second terminal of the transformer wired to an input transformer terminal of a controller wired to a battery power source and coupled in signal communication to a mobile device, a transformer terminal of a signaling device wired to an output transformer terminal of the controller, and a second terminal of the button and an alarm terminal of the signaling device wired to an alarm terminal of the controller. The controller opens disabling the controller doorbell circuit disabling the signaling device from sounding an alarm when the button is pressed, in response to a first signal from the mobile device. The controller closes enabling the controller doorbell circuit enabling the signaling device to sound the alarm when the button is pressed, in response to a second signal from the mobile device.
DOORBELL COMMUNICATION AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
A doorbell system can include a doorbell and a chime. The chime can emit a notification sound in response to a visitor pressing a button of the doorbell. Electrical switches can be electrically coupled between the doorbell and the chime to control the flow of electricity to the chime. In some embodiments, the switches prevent the chime from emitting notification sounds.
MULTITENANT VIDEO INTERCOM DOOR STATION
A wireless, multitenant video intercom door station is provided, along with methods for operating same. A common door station may be installed near a property entry door. The common door station may be utilized to select a desired tenant, and identify one or more tenant door stations and/or tenant personal electronic devices associated with the desired tenant. Notifications may be transmitted to the tenant door stations and/or devices. A tenant may respond to the notification to initiate a video intercom session. Communications may be routed through a cloud server for recording of communication content and/or activity logging.
Doorbell communication systems and methods
A doorbell system can include a remote computing device and a doorbell that has a camera. The doorbell can receive a communication from a remote sensor in response to an event. The communication may cause a power setting of the doorbell to be overridden. Then, the doorbell can send an outgoing communication.
In some embodiments, the switches prevent the chime from emitting notification sounds.
eReceptionist and eNeighborhood watch system for crime prevention and/or verification
A system comprising a camera sensor, a circuit and an identification device. The camera sensor may be configured to generate video data of an environment. The circuit may be configured to (A) communicate with a network through a wireless connection, (B) provide an electrical connection to (i) a plurality of components and (ii) the camera sensor and (C) enable at least one of (i) the components and (ii) the camera sensor in response to an authentication signal. The identification device may be configured to generate the authentication signal. The plurality of components may be configured to implement a virtual receptionist. The video data may be transmitted to the network. The authentication signal may be transmitted using the network. The notifications may be generated by the components.
MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR A CAMERA
There is disclosed an apparatus comprising: at least one mount; at least one electronic device configured to be coupled to the mount; at least one camera coupled to the electronic device and to the mount; wherein said at least one mount comprises at least one coupling element for coupling said at least one electronic device to the at least one mount and wherein the mount is configured to allow the electronic device to be mounted on a surface. The electronic device can comprise a screen. The mount can comprise a body to receive the electronic device. In one embodiment the mount comprises at least one adjustable arm. In one embodiment the adjustable arm comprises a ball and socket joint. In one embodiment the camera further comprises at least one lens assembly. In one embodiment the lens assembly and the mount further comprise a screw connection. In addition, in at least one embodiment there can be a projector which can be used to project an image of a person being viewed by the camera.
Monitoring systems and methods
Cameras can be used to detect if a visitor enters a field of view. Cameras can be mounted in many different areas, including outside buildings, inside buildings, and near other items such as pools. Cameras can send alerts to remote computing devices regarding visitors. Thus, a user of a camera can see and even speak with visitors who are located far away from the user.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTHORIZING TRANSMISSION OF COMMANDS AND SIGNALS TO AN ACCESS CONTROL DEVICE OR A CONTROL PANEL DEVICE
Systems and methods are provided that can include a doorbell device receiving a request signal to enter a region associated with the doorbell device from a remote control device and, responsive thereto, accessing a list identifying which of a plurality of authorized users are located within the region, identifying one of the plurality of authorized users associated with the remote control device, determining whether the list indicates that the one of the plurality of authorized users is located within the region, and determining whether to transmit a disarm command signal to a control panel device or an activation signal to an access control device based on whether the list indicates that the one of the plurality of authorized users is located within the region, wherein entries on the list can correspond to historical use of the doorbell device or the control panel device to enter and exit the region.
Doorbell camera
This application is directed to a doorbell camera for illuminating and capturing scenes. The doorbell camera includes at least a subset of processors for operating a camera module, an image sensor having a field of view of a scene and configured to capture video of a portion of the scene, one or more infrared (IR) illuminators for providing illumination, a waterproof button assembly, and a microphone and a speaker for enabling a real-time conversation between a visitor located at the doorbell camera and a user of a remote client device. The waterproof button assembly is configured to receive a user press on a button top, block water from entering the electronic device, and display a visual pattern uniformly at a peripheral region of the button assembly using LEDs and light guide component that are disposed under the button top.
