Storage system for handheld electronic device
A storage system includes a protective housing member configured to mate with a handheld electronic device. The protective housing member includes a charging area formed between a surface of the protective housing member and a surface of an accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The charging area is configured to charge the accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The charging area is powered by at last one power component of the protective housing member or at least one power component of the handheld electronic device. The storage system further includes at least one integrated circuit which is either a component of the handheld electronic device or a component of the protective housing member.
Wireless enabled storage system
A storage system includes a protective housing member configured to mate with a handheld electronic device. The protective housing member includes at least one accessory station. The accessory station is configured to form between a surface of the protective housing member and a surface of at least one accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The protective housing member includes at least s wireless transmitter and/or an IC chip. The wireless transmitter is configured to facilitate a wireless connection between wireless components of the handheld electronic device and the protective housing member.
DEVICE FOR CHARGING PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A device for charging a portable electronic device includes a housing having a first surface configured to adhere to the portable electronic device, and a cable having an end that is configured to connect to a power source. The cable may have another end that is connected to an inductive charging component and/or another connector of a cable that connects to a charging port of the portable electronic device. A battery of the portable electronic device is capable of being charged when either the connector of the cable is connected to the charging port of the portable electronic device or the other end of the cable is connected to the power source or via the inductive charging component. The housing defines a cavity configured to store the cable within the cavity when the cable is not in use.
Mechanism for locking and fault detection in an electrical vehicle supply equipment cord reel
An electric vehicle charging assembly includes a cord reel, a cord reel locking mechanism, and a master control unit for selectively unlocking the cord reel in response to an authorization signal. The electric vehicle charging assembly monitors the rotational position of the cord reel to prevent unauthorized use, and to record or relay information related to the improper use or malfunction of the electric vehicle charging assembly.
