Surface-level buoy assembly for ethernet connectivity of a sub-surface mobile device

Exemplary systems enable operation of mobile devices underwater. Antennas on a buoy assembly allow a mobile device to maintain wireless communications. A series of cable segments connect a buoy assembly to a waterproof case capable of sealing a mobile device.

Apparatus with a cradle for an electronic device

An apparatus includes a handset and a cradle that removably holds the handset. In the cradle, the storage section is disposed in the main body, includes a recess formed from a bottom surface, two side surfaces extending along a longitudinal direction, and two end surfaces extending along a lateral direction that crosses the longitudinal direction, and can accommodate the entire length of the handset. The cord insertion portion is open at a first end surface of the two end surfaces. A cord of the electronic terminal passes through the cord insertion portion. The push-up member is disposed so as to retractably project from the bottom surface of the storage section, and abuts against the handset stored in the storage portion. The handset is stored in the storage section so as to form a space between the handset and the bottom surface of the storage section, and can pivot to the first end surface side due to the push-up member projecting.

MULTIPURPOSE ACCESSORY AND STORAGE SYSTEM

A multipurpose accessory and storage system for an electronic device includes a housing member attaching to the electronic device and a charging station structured on the housing member to charge, arrest and dispense an accessory item. The accessory item includes a protective membrane housing a logic board, a power component, an image sensor, a transmitter configured to transfer a signal or data to the electronic device or the housing member and a software program stored in the logic board. The transmitter establishes a pairing or electronic connection between the electronic device or the housing member and the accessory item. The pairing or electronic connection enables content captured by the image sensor to be relayed to the electronic device to permit a user to view the content on the display of the electronic device and/or to control components and features of the accessory item via the electronic device.

Plug-and-play ripple pacifier for DC voltage links in power electronics systems and DC power grids

In many power electronics systems, there is an intermediate DC-link stage for facilitating the power processing of different sources to their loads. A device called a plug-and-play ripple pacifier (RP) directly plugged into the DC-link, and actively removes undesired DC-link ripple, thereby eliminating the reliance on electrolytes capacitors for stabilizing the system and remove ripple. Importantly, the use of this device is non-invasive to the operation of its host systems, and requires no modification of existing hardware. It is suitable for the protection of DC utilities/systems and can also be used as a direct replacement of ripple-canceling E-Caps in power converters device.

Injury to the digits, hand and wrist are associated with the frequent usage of portable hand-held electronic devices (PEDs), including but not limited to smartphones. This is true as well for injury to the neck and shoulder areas. The potential for injury to the digits, hand and wrist in particular is anticipated to be exacerbated by the larger smartphones, and especially the tablet-like smartphones. The ergonomic accessory of the invention has several embodiments whose design is intended to ameliorate if not prevent such injuries. Certain embodiments are partially or fully case-like in form so that they envelope to a greater or lesser degree, such hand-held electronic devices. Another embodiment attaches to a PED through an element of the PED such as the charging socket. The accessory also removably attaches the hand of the user or provides a secure holding surface for the user.
