An electronic communication device performs a method to detect proximity of an object to the device. The method includes determining a set of mutual coupling values for at least one pair of a plurality of antennas arrays of the electronic communication device. Each mutual coupling value indicates an efficiency of a mutual coupling transmission between an antenna element of a first antenna array of a pair of antenna arrays and an antenna element of a second antenna array of the pair of antenna arrays. The method further includes determining object position relative to the plurality of antenna arrays based on the set of mutual coupling values.
Method, system and apparatus for causing a communication client to join a media-over-packet communication session
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a method, system and apparatus for causing a communication client to join a media-over-packet communication session. The method comprises receiving from a communication client an indication indicative of a desire of the communication client to establish a communication session, the communication client being registered in association with a user account. The method further comprises determining if there exists at least one active communication session established with at least one other communication client registered in association with the user account. Responsive to determining that there does exist at least one active communication session, the method further comprises causing the communication client to join at least one of the at least one active communication session.

The primary software when in the operational orientation functions to disseminate a blocking/filtering signals within a predetermined operational controlled zone. A digital wireless device performs normal digital wireless device functions. Digital wireless device hardware functions for switching between an inoperative orientation and an operative orientation. A secondary printed circuit board/software has secondary software operative to switch to the inoperative orientation in response to the digital wireless device entering the operational controlled zone to preclude the digital wireless device from performing normal digital wireless device functions.

An apparatus that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium in a communication device which includes computer instructions at least for matching a caller identifier associated with a messaging event and entries in a plurality of contact books corresponding to a plurality of users, and identifying a plurality of parties to whom the messaging event is potentially directed based on the matching. System and method for wireless docking utilizing a wireless docking profile
Various aspects of the present disclosure provide the concept of a wireless docking profile, which may be standardized across a number of vendors, such that a common standard defining minimum sets of peripherals can be shared by dockees and docking hosts to simplify connection setup and negotiation. Further aspects of the disclosure provide a docking procedure that may be utilized to establish a docking connection between the dockee and the docking host to utilize such a docking profile. The terminal includes a plurality of systems, and the method for processing the communication event of the terminal includes: upon the receipt of a communication event, obtaining information of an initiator of the communication event; according to the information of the initiator of the communication event, determining the storage location of the information of the initiator in the plurality of systems; and when the information of the initiator is determined as being stored in any one of the plurality of systems, switching a current running system of the terminal into any one of the systems to process the communication event.
