Call Processing Method and System and Related Apparatus
A call processing method comprises: a network device receives a call request message sent by an originating UE, determines, according to the call request message, that the originating UE supports a resource reservation procedure, and further transmits, to a media server, indication information indicating that use of the resource reservation procedure for negotiation about first media is not supported and use of the resource reservation procedure for negotiation about second media is supported, so that negotiation about the second media is implemented by using the resource reservation procedure.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A DEVICE FOR HANDLING A PHONE CALL
A method for operating a device includes the following, performed by a processing unit of the device: receiving a message signaling an incoming phone call from a calling party via a server; generating a ringing message including at least one additional parameter specifying an enriched ring-back tone to be played, as a function of at least a status information available to the device; and transmitting the ringing message to the server for playing to the calling party the enriched ring-back tone.
Interaction information transmission method and apparatus
This application provides an interaction information transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a calling terminal from an RBT-AS, an SDP message including interaction information related to a video ring back tone; receiving, by the calling terminal from the RBT-MRS, a video ring back tone media stream including the video ring back tone; and playing, by the calling terminal, the video ring back tone in a display interface, and displaying interaction content related to the interaction information. Since the RBT-AS configures the interaction information into the SDP message and sends the SDP message to the calling terminal, the calling terminal does not need to perform decoding and can directly obtain the interaction information and the RBT-AS does not need to encode the interaction information either. Therefore, encoding and decoding processes are not required at a transmit end and a receive end respectively, avoiding extra processing overheads.
CALL PROCESSING METHOD AND DEVICE
A call processing method and call processing device are provided. The method provides a media server that receives an initial call request sent by a calling terminal and forwards the initial call request to a called terminal. The media server receives a success response to the initial call request from the called terminal, and performs video resource negotiation with the called terminal.
The media server sends, based on video resource negotiation with the called terminal, a video stream to the called terminal. In an audio call process between a calling user and a called user, a video stream can be sent to the called user. This improves user experience and improves network capability utilization.
MULTIMEDIA FILE DISTRIBUTION METHOD, MULTIMEDIA CONTROL METHOD, MULTIMEDIA MANAGEMENT PLATFORM, CALLER RING BACK TONE PLATFORM AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure relate to the field of communication technology, and provide a multimedia file distribution method, including: determining an offsite calling associated number corresponding to at least one subscriber number, with the offsite calling associated number corresponding to the subscriber number being a number of a terminal with a number of calls to the subscriber number exceeding a first threshold, and a home location of the offsite calling associated number is different from that of the subscriber number; and distributing a multimedia file associated with the subscriber number to a caller ring back tone platform of the home location of the offsite calling associated number corresponding to the subscriber number. The present disclosure further provides a multimedia control method, a multimedia management platform, a caller ring back tone platform, and a computer-readable storage medium.
METHOD FOR PLAYING MULTIMEDIA CUSTOMIZED RINGING SIGNAL AND CUSTOMIZED ALERTING TONE, AND APPLICATION SERVER
One example method for playing a multimedia customized ringing signal and customized alerting tone includes receiving, by an application server, an initial call request from a calling terminal, sending the initial call request to a called terminal, receiving a provisional response in response to the initial call request from the called terminal, determining customized ring signal media resource information based on the provisional response, sending a first media session update message that carries the customized ring signal media resource information to the called terminal; and receiving a first response from the called terminal, where the initial call request includes SDP information of the calling terminal, and the first response includes a result of a customized ringing signal media resource negotiation between the application server and the called terminal.
VIDEO RING BACK TONE INTERACTION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Embodiments of this application provide a video ring back tone interaction method and an apparatus, and relate to the multimedia field, so as to resolve a problem of poor experience of interaction with a video ring back tone caused by an uncertain answer time. The method includes: after initiating a call to a called terminal, a calling terminal displays a video ring back tone on a display, where the video ring back tone includes at least one interactive element; after receiving a user's first interactive operation performed on a first interactive element, the calling terminal caches first interactive resource data corresponding to the first interactive element, where the first interactive element is any one of the at least one interactive element; and when determining that a call status is an idle state, the calling terminal responds based on the first interactive resource data.
ADJUSTING PRESENTATION ON SMART PHONE LOCKSCREEN OF VISUAL CONTENT ASSOCIATED WITH METADATA OF INCOMING CALL
A call handling function executed in response to activation of a link in encoded metadata of an incoming call adjusts presentation of visual content of the incoming call on a lockscreen of a smart phone based on information in the metadata that is descriptive of the incoming call. The incoming call metadata is decoded prior to connecting the incoming call to a dialer function of the smart phone.
Systems and methods for mobile wireless advertising platform part II
A system of wireless advertising platform has a handheld wireless device that has an inbound wireless data function with a storage function to be able to receive and store, audio, text, image, and flash commercial messages from a message server. The device has a message exposure function that exposes these messages to a device user from the stored memory of the device into the incoming and outgoing communication, to and from the device user. The device has a message tracking function that tracks which messages have been exposed and periodically sends an account record to the message server. The message server has a message provider interface for planning and managing an advertising campaign using the wireless devices.
Management of media content associated with call context on mobile computing devices
A method may include receiving an indication of a call from a caller who is not a participant in a sender-controlled media (SCM) platform to a recipient who is a participant, using caller ID information to gather content pertaining to the caller (e.g., from data stores of the platform and public number search information), generating a SCM data structure based on the gathered content, and delivering the SCM data structure to a call-originating device. In another aspect, a method may include gathering call context for an active call, and developing an understanding of one or more of a call intent, a call participant, and a participant action based on content exchanged between the caller and recipient. Content suggesting algorithms may then determine candidate items of content relevant to the participants of the call for presentation to at least one of the caller and the recipient during the call.
